http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crD2-laiQV8 Is this a canon ship (the Federation one with all the torpedoes) ? And if so, any chance of seeing it in Star Trek Online in the future? Just thought I'd ask.

    Achilles class.

    Soft canon it seems. *shrug*

That's the Achilles class which was designed for the game. As such it's highly unlikely that we see it in any other Trek game.

    Vesta > "Achilles"

Achilles has a heel. Scotty wouldn't have designed the thing like that.

Sorry, no the Achilles is not cannon and you definitely will not see that ship in STO.

Game companies owns their designs and you hardly see any sharing unless a company licenses the works (which takes money). So nobody should expect to see any Cryptic-made ships in future Star Trek games.

Only ships that are considered cannon are ships from the TV shows, the Movies, and some designs from the novels that CBS regards as "canon" like the Luna-class and the Vesta-class. I'm iffy on this one, but think the new "Enterprise-F" might (I say might) be considered canon since the design is going to be owned by CBS.
