STO needs some narration from Patrick Stewart. I could listen to that man read the manual to my TV and I would hang on every word. Leonard Nimoy and Quinto are cool but JEAN LUC PICARD!!! YES!

That's SIR Patrick Stewart haha!
Doubt he'll ever come if his full title isn't correct
And to be honest it would be amazing to see (The possibly retired?) Ambassador Picard! Haha make him a new NPC to diplomatic missions....or make him a diplomate in a new weeky series........?
I'd really like to see missions narrated (the first time you get them) by the NPC you get them from. I think that would really add immersion to the game.
I don't really have anything against Zachary Quinto either.. but the EMH in the tutorial should be Robert Picardo. He defined the EMH we all know and love today. I played the tutorial recently for like the *nth amount of time and it just continues to not feel right to me.
Patrick Stewart would be cool. Michael Dorn for Worf as well would be nice... and I have always wanted to see Brent Spiner do some stuff as the last we heard (in the Countdown comic) was that he was now the Captain of the Enterprise.
HOWEVER Sir Patrick Stewart is not, and is still actively acting on stage.
Him narrating in STO, the hardliner Trek fan in me says no, the 80% Trek fan in me thats left says "Ohhellyessss!"
Cryptic, potential marketing and gaming win here. Just make sure his talent isnt wasted Leonard Nimoy's sector block intros were Trek geekout material. Adding Jean-Luc to, say, ambassador narration and maybe as a guide/tutorial to how to think diplomatically...
I think he's probably voiced a dozen games or more by now. They wouldn't keep hiring him if he weren't priced at a decent wage.
I'd love to get him in for voiceovers and mission intros. But get him to do a script for a future series while you have him. It's too bad you didn't get Chase Masterson to read for that Devidean episode while you had her.
everyone pretty much wants Patrick including dstahl but i bet the man comes at a hefty price.
in saying that its clear that he still has affection for star trek and heck if he can go and voice one line as picard in the family guy star wars thing then im sure he would be happy to do this game.
if i ever hear his voice in this game i will geek out. and i want it to be a surprise.
i want to be playing the game, minding my own business then wham - picard's voice.

Yeah, I can picture it now...
You're flying on a mission, the level opens with a multi-coloured nebula, a pair of klingon vessels mysteriously sit dormant with in a green haze - your ship zooms into the scene, followed by Patrick Stewart's narration "I'm sorry, the server is not responding. Please close the application and try again later" .

This. A thousand times this. I love Leonard Nemoy, but TNG doesn't get nearly enough love. Its always TOS that gets the nostalgia attention. Its always Kirk this and Spock that. Lets get some of the crew of the Enterprise D & E involved in the game.
That said though the time travel mission with the Guardian of Forever is kind of awesome. Which could have been made more awesome by saving the Enterprise D. Sorry fanyboy moment.
After connecting your HDMI cable, ENGAGE the view screen's power by saying ON SCREEN!
I would by the first TV that came with those instructions.

Everyone needs a bit of Patrick. No man has ever pulled off having a bald head quite as well...just a girls opinion...
We need more VO, period. To add more ST alumni to the mix would be icing on the proverbial cake. I say if they can get him, bring on Sir Patrick. Nobody rocks bald quite like him.
Patric Stewart would indeed be an epic win in my book! I would also be happy with Jonathan Frakes, Lavar Burton, basically anyone from the Star Trek franchise. Will Wheaton is doing voice overs for DC Online Universe to! With Patric Stewart doing work for the Lego game, it just shows that some of the actors are willing to do it.
Wil Wheaton not withstanding, I'd love to hear just about any voice acting from any of the principles from any of the Star Trek series. I think it would be fun to hear Nichelle Nichols say "Hailing frequencies open" or "In coming message from Star Fleet". I love this game but a little voice acting would be the proverbial frosting on the cake.

Who is Wheaton in DCU? Is he reprising Cosmic Boy?
I think Wheaton and Aron Eisenberg (Nog) would be easy to get. They're both gamers... and I'd say they're more interested in/active in gaming than pursuing big acting careers at this point.
Heck, Eisenberg hasn't gotten an IMDB credit since DS9 and he plays WoW.
People like this are more likely to be eager to do the kind of "on demand" work that would mesh well with an MMO as well as having less competing work that might make them unavailable or drive their asking price way up. (It could damage someone who routinely takes a paycut for the work or turns down other work to do more STO.)
One thing to keep in mind too is how actors tend to cluster in social groups.
I guarantee you if you got Frakes, for instance, you'd get Sirtis as well if you offer them an excuse to work together.
You get Alaimo, I bet you get Jeffrey Combs. You get Tim Russ, you increase the odds of netting Picardo and Philips and, I suspect, maybe folks like Levar Burton who have worked with Russ a lot behind the camera.
Whereas the actors Stewart would open up would, I suspect, be less likely to be other Trek actors. I think, strategically, getting Stewart might open doors for Ian McKellan or David Tennant or other British actors he's worked with. That's more his scene.
If you're just talking for narration, absolutely, a thousand times yes. I love Stewart's voice.
But if you're strategic, one voice can turn into twenty.
If you look at Nimoy, I'm absolutely certain that getting him got us Zach Quinto. It might open up doors with George Takei or Shatner.
But I'd argue that it can be like dominoes and getting the right VO actor (at a good price) will create a lot of relationships both for STO and future MMOs. (And who's to say it wouldn't be smart to get a Trek alum to come in and record for STO and Neverwinter in one sitting? They'd get separate performance fees but you do double up on costs like travel and studio fees and an in-development game like NWO could be in a better position to offset some of the expense.)
I believe that Wheaton is voicing Robin in this game.
I thought that was Jesse McCartney? He's playing Robin in the cartoons now and has video game VO background. Huh. (Almost everybody else in DCU from Summer Glau to Mark Hamill to Adam Baldwin has prominently played their character in the game before, if not together.)

Oh man, that was hilarious.
but I'm not sure I want him in sto. that would be, well, almost demeaning

too bad I heard bad things about it...

G
I'd love to have storyline mission briefings narrated too.
This is good news!
It proves he'll do anything for cash.
Pure imagination? Really, Sir Patrick? Really?
+1000
for this i want to buy everything in the Cstore
