Something about Space Difficulty, and plz Dev's put a Medic on my Ship, kthx

I did a little experiment to see how long i could fly with my NX-01 on Elite.

(i had problems on ground, thx to OP Klingon Swordmasters and Romulan Medic's way before i ran into any problems in Space, and i might add that i do not intentionally cripple my ground game like i cripple my space game!).

Well i just got promoted to Cmdr (lvl 31).

At the end of Lt.Cmdr. (lvl 28 / 29) i came to the point where my Phase(r) Cannons had no more effect and only my Photon(ic) Torpedos did 1% damage to the Hull on some of the worse PvE Ships (the Hirogen are especially noteworthy here).

So yes, i finally ran into the point where i had to drop the difficulty to Advanced. (just until i can switch out my Mk IV gear to Mk VI !)


Now, what i think is absolutely hillarious and what i did not expect at all,
i fly my NX-01 ... at Cmdr. Rank that thing has only 3 ensign abilities after all !!!
and i find "Advanced" to be absolutely mindnumbing easy now!

I can beat a Romulan Warbird (+2) with ease, my hull almost doesn't get any damage !!!


Oh and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Dev's...
add a Medic in my Sickbay that can cure Injuries after a Mission...
it is soooo stupid to fly back to Earth after EVERY SINGLE Mission, because you have 20 Crit. Injuries from the Klingon Swordmasters scrambled all over you and your BOff's.
It is impossible to get enough Crit. Regenerator thingys as drop's to stay on top of it.

    Can't you stock up on medical supplies to heal your injuries?

    He could. But wouldn't be a helluva lot cooler if you could actually use your medical facilities in the ship, adding that much more functionality to your ship?

    I definitely agree with adding a Chief Medical Officer to the ships. We see every major medical problem solved in sickbay on the shows, well other than Picard's heart surgery. And even then they needed the Enterprise to come to his rescue.
    Even Dstahl went to sickbay for his ear infection.

    I think you should be able to beam out of any tight spot, and then beam down a squad of death robots to fight in your place.

    Yes.
    As I understand it, more functionality is something that is coming "in the future"
    But for now, why go all the way back to ESD when he can carry or replicate medical stuffs?

    you can't buy Critical ones, only minor and major

    and to be honest they are kinda expensive if you buy them in bulks, i play on Elite so most of my EC goes to the Exchange for Green and Blue Items. (Purple tends to be too expensive)

    Yes i could buy the Critical thingys on another char from the exchange but i like to keep my Bank's seperate from each other, would be kinda cheating otherwise.


    Also i see no real diffrence if Cryptic would just copy&paste the Medical Officer of ESD to my Ship Interrior the only thing that this would get rid off is the travel time.
    Because as it stands, i will not go into the next Mission with 20 Injuries, i will fly back anyway to only press that one button.
    It does not add anything to the game but travel time.
    I don't need another scanning Minigame or anything, just an out of mission Healer that is not 10 Loadscreens away.
