same here. i have a klingon captain and have never gotten the option to try the deflector pulse. i guess the Klingons just don't go for diplomatic solutions when it's just so much easier to lock disruptors and open fire
i had hoped they would give us an option to beam out the hostages when their shields were down for the klink side during a limited window of time (similar to how the transport attacks work in the sortie missions).
Yea, its a bit one sided. Feds can do the mission in a matter of seconds. Klinks have to stay and deal with both waves.
I was really hoping that the new Eta Eridani Sh'mar daily would even the score. The klinks have the option to protect or destroy the freighter. This should been their equal to the deflector pulse. Blow up the ship and call it a day. Instead they still have to stay and fight. making the choice fairly meaningless.
Where's the honor in a deflector pulse and stealing the captives? At best it should have been a board and "rescue" mission.
Probably the same Klingons who want more fashion options.
It seems that in this game the Fed's have adopted the war footing of the Klingons, and the "Honorable warriors" are more concerned with saving inferior races and looking good while doing it.
The war between The Federation and the Klingons seems dumber everyday, we have too much in common now..........

Yeah. I intend to rewrite this mission when the foundry goes live. Well, when it goes live with the necessary features. Then there will be boarding and rescuing of captives.
