What's the point of that calendar? It's two months out of date now.
Devs have been working on other things to FULFILL: what the calendar says, up to the end of 2010.
How about , say, LETTING THEM GET BACK IN THE OFFICE b efore complaining that the calendar hasn't been updated for 2011 though. Wait a week to give 'em time to get back up to speed.
Some people, I swear, expect devs to be superhuma. They're not,m they're just as human as you or I - so give 'em a break already!
Because they have nothing to put on there. If they had, they would have done it by now since this is not the first thread mentioning it from end of Nov 2010.
the front page is out of date (and needs some fixing) but if you click on it it takes you to the updated calender and the last thing was the motion picture uniform on the 23rd december.
nothing new has been posted yet because they probably dont have any firm dates yet.
While the original poster is sort of being unreasonable with his/her impatience, this is a good thing too as it shows that people are getting excited now for what's in store next.
I think generally the website could do with a little more attention, the events calender is not updated as often as it should be, the klingon ships are still not listed out (not even the original ones from launch) and generally it could do with a bit more functionality and the layout could do with a revamp

It is true, some people have unrealistic expectaions. Like you for instance. You apparently expect to come to an MMO forum and NOT see threads like this. Thats even MORE unrealistic than the OP.

this happens every two or three months. Somebody finally updates the calendar about two months after it should have been updated. I think it's one of those 5 minute tasks that everyone is too lazy to do. It would be one thing if the calendar was not determined, but they're just being incredibly lazy with it, and they always have been.
They've already published new episodes that aren't on the calendar weeks ago. It's like nobody cares.
edit: oops, they actually did put November up. Last time I checked "What lies beneath" was the last update. I'm pretty sure I checked a couple of days ago, but I might be wrong.

The front page is - but if you clck on the 'and more' or any of the other links, it takes yiou to the current month; and while there's nothing on January; they did keep December up to date, and there was stuff on it during the month of December.
That said, I to will never understand why they don't keep the calendar listing on the main page which is what a new player, or someone possibly interested in the game would see first, more up to date like they do with the new news articles.
At the expense of playing TRIBBLE for tat on posts, I would say you don't. Google is your friend,
Whats next Kettle black?
You can't even show how I was Ironic in my last post, I'd suggest looking the word up.
Ironic is digging your own hole while you post.
Oh fine, I'll break it down for you since your having such a hard time. Essentially, irony is when something is said or happens that is the opposite of what is expected. And since you obviously dont like such trivial complaints as the one this thread is based on, for you to post a reply complaining about an even less trivial issue(the complaining itself), it is both ironic and humorous. Thanks for the laugh

Ok, maybe I was harsh, you are fun to play with.......
There is not one thing above that you are not also guilty of.
Irony is in the eye of the poster. To point it out is not. Only people who don't see the original irony use these kind of circular arguments. Irony is not a defense against irony. You (and I) are feeding off each other in a discussion of a lame OP to begin with.
It is kinda fun though huh?
For the heck of it I don't think I was ironic in my first post, I'd say say more sarcastic.

Hopefully Cryptic updates it soon.
The calendar is quite updated and has been updated on a monthly basis. It is only the front page list that hasn't been.

Well gee we need more attention to calendars.
God, is this the best we can complain about?
Idiots.
How ironic

I agree, you do know what that word means right?

Oh yes. And your post is full of it. I also know how to watch my words just enough that I'm not guilty of the same thing
