    Shiver me timbers?

Couldn't you have said that instead?

If they play CO as well, then meh, perhaps they get access to all content that F2P customers would need to purchase?

If they don't play CO, then they knew how much they were spending when they pressed submit... so...

    I don't.

I considered it at the time, but didn't have the money. I'm glad I didn't, since I wouldn't have played CO, and got the uniform for much cheaper, instead.

Specialy for cryptic who seem to be angry about links hiding behind simple text that explains what it is I will tell you this is a link to a youtube video with in there the song Shiver my timbers.

With all that aside, if you brought a CO lifetime for some STO uniforms you where doing it wrong if you ask me, no way an ingame item is worth 300 bucks. You should have brought it for the CO life time and anything else is a bonus.

He's got a point - I'd feel sorry for those people too, even if the MU uniforms were still unavailable elsewhere. :p

That said, CO is a cool game. I'm currently having a blast with the trial.

Having played CO and the DCU beta, DCU pales in power sets and customization. I was expecting a lot more out of DCU, it does have nice touches, but the hybrid console/pc model is too much tilted to consoles and you have too few of your abilities available for use at one time. CO>DCU Keep yer consoles out of my pc games. 8') CO is fun

    I don't.

If people truly were so foolish and handed over $300 JUST to get the MU uniform in STO then they deserve to have lost their money.

I will admit I was 50/50 about getting the CO Lifetime Sub, and the MU Uniforms probably just edged it. I don't regret it in the slightest, I still play CO and my heroes in that all have mixed powersets, which free players won't get. Not that you need them of course, but knowing I can hop on and play superheroes whenever I like is quite liberating :)

I do play STO a lot more though. I like spaceships.
