I noticed that Cryptic thoroughly removed every mission giving diplomacy XP from the mission replay(all the season 2 1s,the trading 1 on DS9(even though that 1 is on the cardassian front),patrol missions etc.).It has a half hour long cooldown so I dont know why was this necessary

.
Was it really that big problem that players could farm ambassador without getting a headache from scanning 200 anomalies for 10 aid the planet missions?(warping in and out 50 times in a half hour is not very fun you know). The other option is flying through the entire sector space for every 10 diplomacy xp(Sugohara gives me First Contact mission like once /2 weeks) and this 1 is a lot slower than sitting in Btran.
I hate both options so I still need to park my cruiser 29 days long in orellius sector block to get ambassador(with the breen daily).I already got the borg console so now mission replay is basically useless for me.

A dedicated player can make Ambassador in a couple of days. The most gratuitous exploit of this might involve doing the trading one on DS9 and the one on Bajor repeatedly in chain succession but that would involve a lot of farming in advance or energy on the exchange for, what? 40 diplomatic XP an hour?
I can get that easily in an exploration cluster just by abandoning non-diplomacy missions.
I suppose they might not want you leveling by grinding non-combats but the rate of gain remains trivial and replay XP is already lowered.
I agree they should consider adding diplomatic missions to replay. (Heck, there are a couple from the weekly series you can replay but they no longer provide diplomatic XP.)
edit:Not 100% that it was possible before season 3 because I repeated just a combat mission but I assume that it was.
Can you chain share missions? Ie. can I share a secondary mission someone else shared with me, with you?
If so, two players with two alts each could max out diplomacy fast anyway.
Side note: Foundry missions can reward FDC XP if they are non combat. This will be nice once the foundry goes live. A lot of talented people out there so far.
If they wanted to guarantee a timesink, I'd be fine if, instead of getting diplomacy replay missions from our ready room, we had to go directly to Jiro. That would give them a travel time sink factor that might offset fast gains.
Good point. Anyway it seem the idea isn't to have a exploit, but rather have access to what are the only fun diplomacy missions.
