The one Custimization option I'm truly suprised not to see..

Is the basic belt with holstered Tricorder & hand Phaser combination.

Seeing as how the Tricorder we scan with on the ground is the same "flip" model from Voyager (as opposed to the PADD-like model from Nemesis) and that even crewman who carried Phaser-rifles carried hand-Phasers as standard sidearms, I don't see why we shouldn't have it.

While not necessary, it would be interesting to see your Tricorder disappear from your belt while scanning, and your phaser disappear if you're using a singular non-compression hand-Phaser.

Now that you mention it. I'm not sure if it should be a customization thing more then simply a standard for all characters.

You have a really good point there. Not sure why they couldn't make a standard belt or something, so that people could show where their tricorders actually come from.

Yeah now that you mention it, TOS did have that cool Phaser leather belt

I've always been a tad surprised by this, too. I mean, all things considered, I dunno how many people actually carry around a phaser pistol of any kind, but at the very least we should get a belt with a holstered tricorder.
Though with a lot of the kits (especially the science ones!) having a belt with extra bits of equipment might be a bit much. Some of the science kits even look like thet got some kinda super-specialized tricorders hanging off their belts.

I am sure it is coming to a CStore near you eventually, most things do. Hopefully it is being worked on, I don't mind buying fluff like that from the CStore, hell I even bought the counciler set and I have never liked the Troi character in the least.

yeah, a belt with a holstered tricorder would be cool. Same with the phaser.

I agree that the belt should be a standard accessory. My TNG inspired crew just don't look quite right without the standard issue belt and tricorder holster.

    Or the correct Admiral uniform.

I would so like to have the option of a belt with tricorder and phaser. I mean, you could even argue that it should be standard on everyone. During the Dominion war the officers always had a phaser on, and we're at war with the Klingons, Borg, True Way, and parts of Romulan Empire simultaneously. Not to mention the Undine and Mirror Universe jerks.

I love the way the lower tier Science kits look.
With a fancy belt and someminor details on the arm. That would be a lovely thing to have in the tailor.

I'm also surprised. What a lot of people don't realize is, this is a game for people who enjoy fluff. So, let's go ahead and implement this ok Cryptic? Thanks.

Also Katic, is there a reason you copied my signature???

No, there is no profile pic, yes, I'm 26, a guy, and I play STO, yes, I'm single, I'm not engaged, to a Marine, no, I won't send you any pictures of me, no, I don't play both factions, Just Feds, no, I won't join your fleet. Now stop PMing me!
Question... If you are single and not engaged ,specifically not engaged to a marine...
Is there a non marine you are engaged to but you see yourself in the relationship to be single?

I'm surprised this game has no proper Klingon Kleavage. :p

But yes, more "equipment options" (holsters for phasers and tricorders, or disruptors and knifes for KDF) would be sweet. I still think the mercenary stuff needs to be available in normal uniform customization. I know a Nausicaan BO explosives expert who would love some grenades on his belt.

That said, I could actually think of a C-Store pack with equipment parts to be mixed with existing uniforms, rather than yet another new uniform set.

It was a sad attempt at copying her sig and pretending it was mine originally for humor. Unfortunately this has turned out disasterous and I will be changing it now :(

Or how about that shoulder belt rig from Yesterday's Enterprise?

In addition to the belted phaser pistol and/or tricorder, I wish the rifle or bat'leth I carry would appear strapped to my back.

You know, like in Mass Effect. If we are carrying it, it should be visible.

Or maybe they are automatically transported in when we select them.

It does work as an explanation, no?

Hammerspace. Made for STO with mini transporters/replicators.
But then we could need a belt with a small thingamajig to explain that.

i was thinking that today, and its not like they're afraid of showing too much skin (going by the orions), so we needs it. now.

I guess the Open Jacket will be coming out sooner. Which is really ironic when you think about it.

Well, if they come out with the Open Jacket Emote, there should be a remove shirt one for TOS uniforms. Think about it, how many times did Kirk lose his shirt or get it torn off?

I'm all for this idea! More cool actual Starfleet belts, please!

I'd also like to adjust where the belts are, on some characters. The hieght of some of the belts on certain models looks a little weird to me, sometimes.

Nope. But it was mentioned in the Engineering Report, and the only other thing from the poll list that's still missing is the 25th century Starfleet uniform from the shows. So I'd say that one and the Open Jacket are next up in terms of C-Store releases.
