I just wanted to sum up a beg report, and hopefully get a dev-reply, just so i can be sure the devs are really aware of the different bugs they added in the "bug-fix" season.
- Tab-targeting out of control. Used to work fine, now it's targeting by distance only when first approaching a group.
- Target-exposed. (shortcut 'g') Not working at all anymore.
- Ability-activate slowed down. Activating heals on ground takes longer than it used to.
- Weapons malfunction. Sometimes after swapping weapon ('z' key) you weapon will not fire. The icon greys out, and comes back up. Hitting 'z' again gets weapon back in firing mode.
- Proto-drone spawns in STFs. Proto drones spawn in random amounts and random times. I've seen as much as 6 protos spawn at once. I've also seen Heavy Tacticals being spawned in place of protos.
- Proto drones attack have been upgraded. Does more damage. Does more knockback. Proto knockback does not give resistance. I've been swept clear across the room (30m) by 3 protos chaining their knockback.
ADDED BY REQUEST:
Ambassador reward not being given even after voting for the correct visiting dignitary.
Falling in space and upon logging into the game on ground / ESD still occurring
Comet Cocktail, Deferi Snow Tubers and Vulcan Spice Tea not stacking above ten items.
Depart System button to the left of your mini map is greyed out in Rolor Nebula and Betraka Nebula exploration areas.
New ship pet / tribble reward runabout drops of your tool bar if you move it in your inventory.
Upon accepting Diplomatic Missions there is no record of what system that they take place in, so if you forget, you're screwed.
I'll be happy to add any other bugs i've missed. I will not add mission-specific or cosmetic bugs to the list. Only bugs that affects general gameplay.
keeping in mind the devs (or most of them) are on holiday you be much better of holding this back to the new year or putting it in the bug report section where it wont fall off the front page so quickly.
One that really stands out for me atm as a priority is the Team Missions not completing.
For example, earlier I was doing a set of patrol missions, the first system I jumped into was the Eriksson system and someone else was already in the system and had taken out one of the enemies. I catch up and help them complete the mission as your supposed to. Then after a couple more systems I jump into my next system in the patrol list and defeat the first bunch of enemies, when another player jumps in and auto teams up, again we finish the objectives and leave the system. It is at this point I notice that both systems that I had someone else in with me didn't get removed from my patrol list and I was forced to run both of them again solo before the missions updated as being complete.
I am not sure if this is from before Season 3, as I had a similar issue when running the Breen series with a fleet member, if one of us had completed a part of the mission before the other had reached the system, it wouldn't let us continue.
If this is a deliberate gameplay system to stop people from joining in half way through the mission, then you should not be allowed to autogroup when you enter a system if you won't be able to complete the mission. Either way it stops me from wanting to join in teams in case I have to repeat a mission solo so I can complete it, which detracts from the social experience of an MMO.
You know what i think is going on.I read what a SWG devs said, it was something along with,,because the coding in that game was all over and messed up every time they changed 5 things20 other things was messed up.I mean everytime they do something in this game all the do is create more bugs all over.
Well yeah, think of it as a long novel, and one chapter needs revamping, if you change too many things it can displace the rest of the book. Which in coding, breaks things and causes bugs. They would have to rewrite everything to get it completely perfect and with as much coding as a game of this magnitude would have, it would be impossible to do every time you want to update something.
Any one who has done any coding, even small scale programs, knows how hard it is to get all the pieces to fit together.
You want the extra content, you live with the bugs, its a simple as that.

Are you saying that this game can not be expanded without breaking gameplay mechanisms vital to playing the game? If you are, i disagree.
I know a little bit about how coding works. I know it well enough to know not to borrow variables from unrelated subroutines, and i hope the cryptic devs do too. I can't believe the game is coded in a linear line-by-line style, like Basic for DOS, so you will move everything by deleting one line. There has to be some sort of tree structure. As long as this can take being added to or modified, it can also be fixed. It's just a matter of giving the right people the time to do it. In a worst case scenario a branch of the tree would have to be re-written. (i noticed a while back cryptic wanted to hire a new HUD programmer. this could possibly be a step towards rewriting the HUD branch? as it is today, deactivating HUD doubles my framerate... )
Anyhow, season 3 did NOT give new content. It was the big clean-up and bug-fix season. You have to appreciate the irony of them fixing typos and cosmetic details, at the expense of the mechanisms needed to actually play the game...
I remember after season two they said season three would be about bug fixes. Did that change? I quit posting at about the end of august and just got back to the forums not to long ago. I didn't really see anything I recognized in the release notes. Like they removed the Borg sphere's from the nodes in Kerrat and fixing the DSE's level problem.
For the feds it takes 9 rare traces and 60 each of the Tan Samples.
The klingons have their Engine and Deflector the same. meaning they need 120 Tachyon Wave Signatures and 2 each of Chrometric, Anyon, and Methogenic traces.
G targeting has been working fine for me, haven't seen or experienced any of the others on your list.
Might want to post here http://forums.startrekonline.com/forumdisplay.php?f=69
Most likely gonna get moved there anyway.
Don't forget to report the bugs you see in game.

Really? then you are one of the lucky few. In my fleet we tried out the bug doing a grav-shift/thermal vent on a group and all of us trying to target the exposed ones with G, but nothing happened for any of us... Also, everyone i've asked in my fleet agrees TAB-targeting is acting wierd.
The reason i posted it here and not in bug forum, is that this is not really a bug report, as much as it is a request for the devs to accnowledge that they are aware of the existence of these bugs. And to get dev attention and reply, this seems to be the section they are giving the most attention. (besides the foundry section)
I would be happy if the game would stop randomly disconnecting me. Ever since 3.0 I get DCed intermittently. It is nowhere near as bad as it was right after 3.0 hit...but it is still annoying. Thankfully I never have any issue logging right back in since it is neither my computer nor my ISP. Moreover, unlike my friends, I get DCed just sitting there chatting or reading zone {not going idle}...where as most of them get it while map moving.
Maintanence today...so maybe they will help. Sadly everyone i know is having this same annoying issue in one form or another and hope it is fixed soon.
Now that the devs have returned from their holiday exile.....
Could we please get a confirmations that you are:
...at least aware of these issues?
...maybe even in the process of investigating them?
...or dare i hope... working on fixing them?
...but surely not ready with a patch already?
If people have reported them in game, with as much detail as possible, then yes, they're aware.
If they're aware, they will be fixing it as soon as they can. They don't like bugs in the game anymore than we do. It may take time while they investigate, make a fix, test a fix, implement a fix.
Also, I'm sure they have a method of triage, fixing game breaking bugs first and minor annoyances later.
If people have reported them in game, with as much detail as possible, then yes, they're aware.
Well, it is in a log somewhere... and it may have been read by someone...
What i would like to know, is if it has reached the right person? The person that can see that this is obviously a bug. The person with the authority to put it somewhere on the to do list. (or at least the to-investigate list) There may after all happen that whoever reads the log does not understand the problem. That he dismisses it as user error or intended-design.
You didn't get the big one! Every time i warp in, I free-fall in space for a few seconds....
This happens to me when exiting maps into exploration clusters, my ship falls from a great height and hits the "floor", complete with dust cloud. I'm kind of fond of this bug, though; I'm going to RP it as my captain having space madness nobody's detected yet.

I get this on occasion...usually when the server is overloaded. It reminds me of beta where you would beam down as your ship...or beam up as your captain then plummet to your death lol {before they made it so you could not die from falling}. I love the dust cloud lol.

God, I LOVED those bugs. Beaming down as your ship made it look like you were a Roomba. And being a tiny little person running in space was great. I started a thread awhile back asking for those bugs to return as options, but it didn't go anywhere, surprise - at least leave me the ship falling and hitting the floor with a dust cloud
- teamed up with my Fleetmates
- go to Deferi-mission "Emanzipation"
- 4 guys beamed down
- i was clearing the space from anomalies
- then beamed down (hit the beam down button)
- get the BOFF-selection screen for beam down, hit accept
- as i joined my Fleetmates on Ground, i still had my Eng-Borg-BOFF with me
- 5 players + 1 BOFF = 6 guys on ground
- same thing in B'Tran on Approach the Planet / Base
- all teammates beamed down
- i beamed down a moment later (was looking for anomalies)
- and i still had 1 of my BOFF's with me
- so team size was 6 guys

The newspaper missions never were recorded. So its unfair to call it a new bug. A request to change, an annoyance. But not a new bug.
However the rest of your list is correct.
My work around is using the NPC chat tab and back tracking what was said, usually I found it in there.
The klingon Aegis build set is bugged.

-Chat window no longer finishes a name or emotes for a player when he/she tries to scroll over it.
(EX: Trying to use /e sit_chair , one types only /e sit and all the options come up...but when you click the option one wants, nothing happens).

edit: Here you go.
Warp-In:
- shows map beforehand
- camera turns around entry point, then shifts to current location and turns again
Warp-Out:
- 4 warp streaks instead of 2 (seemingly only Intrepid class affected)
