STF's a list of gear

I was wondering if there is a list for the stf's what gear to bring, like weapons and kits?

    Well, here is how we roll....

    Armor - Energy Dampening, right now I have the new MkX! crafting one that adds hit points
    Polyweave to tank Armek

    Shield - I've head different but.....I don't mind Reg 3x, but many use the one with the knock back bonus

    Kit for Tac - I almost entirely use Squad leader

    Kit for Sci - the bog analyzer seems to work well
    And I've been tanking Armek with the Physicians kit and rockin it out.

    Weapons - With My science I use 2 expose weapons at all times to help out the peps who can do a lot of damage.

    Now with my tac....In almost every situation I have a sniper rifle - with a power cell, targeting optics, security team, you can one shot nodes that aren't exposed sometimes! It is also handy because it is important to have at least 1 weapon without an area attack to make sure you can pull a group without aggroing the rest!

    On Cure I like to use the blast weapons with the 66% knock down with e sniper rifle, since they are sooooo effective at keeping workers off generators. The devidian cane is also a life saver for this.

    Really with weapons, just sort of figure our what you are trying to do, then experiment.



    And of course, lots of Large Hypos and Power cells!!!!

    I wish they could find a differnt term than exploit. It sounds so wrong when you say it like that.

    Make sure you bring along a high density beam rifle of some description, and lots of hypos an shield batteries. If your an engi, you dont need the batteries, and if you a sci, you can get away without using the hypos. The group knock back ability of the rifle is useful is all the borg STFs. Also a bunker fab kit on an engineer is aways useful to have. The force field dome and cover shield are super handy, and if you are specked for it the medical generator can save a lot of lives.

    Word of caution with Devidian cane. It has area of effect, so it may aggro more borg than you intended to. We ran Khitomer last night. In the room with the 6 power nodes, using the cane aggroed the borg on the level above us. Didn't find out until we saw them marching down the ramp coming for us. Then it was like, oh.... TRIBBLE.
