Computer, tell us more! spice up the game!

Now in space we have the choice of the 'treky' music, we have the ambient sounds, weapon fire and an occasional 'X shields failing'. But to make combat (more so in space) I would like there to be more audio voiceover sort of things to make it more interesting :D

We have at the moment;
'X shield failing'
'Enemy shields failing'
And anymore I have missed...

But wouldn’t it be good if we had more?
We could have the computer tell us 'Engines failing' which indicates someone has used target engine subsystem (or are using phasers), this could also work for weapons, shields and auxiliary. In the event of a system completely failing (0 power) we could have for example 'Engines Offline'. If two or more systems are going or are offline then it just says both.

In the event of an enemy boarding party we could have 'Intruder Alert'

If a ship uses scramble sensors or jam sensors the computer could say 'Targeting system malfunction'

I’ve covered a few out of possibly many

Any thoughts?

    This could be cool, depending on how it is implemented. Last thing I want tough is the computer constantly droning out verbiage when I am trying to concentrate on the battle.

    I think this is something that sounds cool, but you would be getting nagged so much you would end up just shutting it off.

    You'd need a "Shut that damned thing off!" button....in Patrick Stewart's voice.

    I like the idea, but as stated it could get annoying. Honestly I already have the alerts turned off because I don't need to hear it.
