What are your top 6 game improvements?

I recently returned from a hiatus from STO and things are definitely improving in the game. With that said I still have a Top 6 list of major improvements that could be made to make the game a lot better.

Here they are:
  1. Continue to improve the games space atmosphere by adding more C Store ship items. I want the Ambassador, Oberth, Constellation, a real Steamrunner, a real Norway, Shelley from DS9, New Orleans, Challenger, Springfield, Niagara, and Freedom from BOBW. Federation fighters and the typhoon class battleship which are both already in game as non-playable would be cool as well.
  2. Add other Star Trek items to the C Store for example: I want ground phasers like the great TOS ones that were just added, tricorders, and other star trek devices. How cool would it be to have the ST:V/VI phaser pistol or the TNG dust buster? How about the movie era tricorder?
  3. Add open space PVP and add other incentives to increase the number of people in PVP. I would like the ability to have DSE encounters with other players. This could be as simple as allowing Klingons players and Federation players to actually fire at each other in existing Klingon DSE. Also PVP needs better incentives to play. I know this isn’t a great fix because the real reason PVP is not played a lot is that players seem to be really bad at configuring their vessels and they tend to get run over. This isn’t going to change but adding more incentives might bring back some players.
  4. Fix ground combat by extending weapon range, adding free targeting and removing auto targeting, and reducing the amount of damage characters can take. Extending weapon range and adding free targeting will make ground combat more tactically driven. Damage can be reduced because accuracy of fire would now matter.
  5. Add the ability to upgrade any ship to Admiral level stats. At the very least give us the ability to upgrade the number of bridge officer slots.
  6. Add a better variety of repeatable or open missions. I want a Breen & Undine signal contact type DSE, escort or attack a convoy mission for the Federation, a Starbase or planetary assault mission, and/or a large scale fleet vs. fleet combat mission would be good starters.

    The Devs already have a stickied thread for top short, medium, and long-range requests in the General forum.

    maybe they should unsticky and close that thread and start up a "newer" one? updates and all and old info that is past or understood....emmm?

    Where to start lol.

    1. A way to trade commissioned officers to alts without having to use another person.

    2. Would like more kit options and abilities than we currently have for each class and perhaps more effective already existing abilities.
    Ie. would really like to see them unload with more CC abilities for ground science to choose from.

    3. I agree we need some open pvp areas and raidable cities big time.
    I would love a flagging system and to be able to go into another's space where we could get majorly pwned by other players for being in their territory.
    Ie. feds going into klingon space or vice versa and etc as factions get added.

    4. More bank space and a shared bank tab for your entire account.

    5. More of a variety of difficulty options for STFs so we can play at more skill levels than just the RA mode or VA mode.

    6. A way to adjust how your beams look on your ship and cannons.

    6A. A way to make single beams look like the same size as the dual beams, just in looks not power.
    One single beam array with the same size diameter as the dual beams.

    6B. A way to set your beams where they look more like something from the shows instead of a light show of beams all going off.
    I want to be able to have beams no matter how many, fire from their appropriate arrays as one beam per array area instead of a spread lightshow like they do now.

    6C. Cannons on the Defiant to look like the quad cannons from the show (crud have all escorts look like they are firing quads if you have the right equipment for the effect).
