Seriously, what's the big deal? From the video, what you're looking at is a Nausicaan-themed version of the AGT Enterprise.
Big whoop, Klinks got access to the phaser lance - lot of originality there. Not to mention that all that rolling/flipping is very un-Star Trek-like, where the ships are big and feel that way. You just don't seen what are supposed to be big ship parts move that fast pretty much anywhere in Trek - and there ARE soem ships with moving parts like that. B'Rels, Intrepids, Scimitars - NONE of them moved that fast.
Sum total: Meh - not the big deal that everyone in this thread's making it out to be.

Oh come all ye faithfull... (shameless Xmas pun).... Stop being such a party pooper/negative nelly...
One mans trash... another's treasure...
I get your not impressed, but isn't there just a little something about it you find even a little interesting?
...and BTW: I'm the only one here that's makin' the big deal. <snor-kle>

TBH, not really. It's marking a move by the devs away fromt he "SHips In SPace" concept of the original Trek towards the "aircraft in space" concepts of things like Star Wars.
Personally, I LIKE the feeling of flying something big and powerful. Yes, I was quite a fan of Bridge Commander when it came out - it had it's flaws, but at least the team behind it (same team that created the original X-Wing game, BTW) were able to capture the "feel" of Trek.
This Nausicaan thing - just doesn't do it for me. Again, Nausicaan-themed AGT Enterprise.
And, I don't have one of those, either. True capships don't need to attack their enemies like a blasted fighterplane - that's what turrets are for

Just make sure you've saved one of your "Run Away" skills to use, when you run into one of these things...
I'm thinking that just as the weapon fires, you can do a 'Zip-pa-de-do-da' away from it just like Sulu did with the Enterprise-A in ST V: The Final Frontier.
(yes...I know the FX's sucked in that one, but still... ca-non.) LoL
And from the look of it in the video, it doesn't seem to be fast like a fighter when it moves around, only when it Transforms. (Starship In Disguise)

Which was the point - it has to FACE it's opponent like a fighterplane does to use the cannon - making it basically a mini-Wave Motion Gun) , which for the most part in Trek was anathema. Until the AGT Enterprise came about, turrets filled the need - with the advantage that you could use more than one turret at a time if you needed to.
Ya, Evasive Maneuvers would work - save for the fact that this is a dice-roll MMO, and once the weapon fires the bolt will follow you regardless and hit if the roll makes it so

You're quite right... I edited my original line as you can now see.
OOOooooooo... I forgot about "The Last Starfighter"...
I luv the way this thing flips around after firing... so reminiscent of that.
Now I'm thinking about going back and continuing to grind up my one Klink toon...
OOps... sorry triple post... I'm just so excited.... and I just can't hide it!
I know..., I know..., I know..., I know.., I KNOW..., I Want One!
Hell, If Sheldon can get a Girl Friend than so can WE!
Just make sure ya finish that last STF before ya call her.
LoL....
My life is what they based Sheldon on...
It's like looking in a mirror when I put the DVD's in to watch.
I'm 52 and the first time my mother watched the show, She said..., "...that's my David."
That ship, however, has to be a romulan-only deal.
eh...somebody else has already started another thread about it...
Mine will probably fade into obscurity fairly quickly...
But it IS a cool looking/working Vessel, perhaps it WAS the Romulans who developed it.
Is there a place to go to read anything about it's In-Universe creation?
B5 called, they want their Shadow Crabs back...

As for the ship, mmm yummy, Fleet Escort with power draining phaser lance. My Klinkett wants it!

No, only the little wing-tip pew-pews on the ends of their nacells.
