Digital download from lifetime sub for international customers?

I downloaded the demo and enjoyed it much more than I was lead to believe.

Because I live in very rural Japan and have shipping difficulties I don't want to buy a disk. Its just too much off a pain to get packages for me where I am.

The lifetime sub says it offers a DL client and I don't need a disk. But can I DL it from Japan? Ive never found a direct to drive game retailer that didn't block my country.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

There should be no problem downloading it since you already got the game in the form of the demo.
all you need to get is the actual game and that you can online directly from the mainsite.

Have you tried Steam? I would find it hard to believe that that would be blocked.

Anyone who's subscribed can simply go to this page on the official site to download the Star Trek Online game.

It doesn't matter where you're at, unless your government or Internet Provider has blocked this page.

Thats exactly what i did. I'm based in England and went though the same channels as what Peregrine linked.

You can always purchase the game online and try installing/playing with the 30 days free game time. If you have issues installing it, you can figure it out with customer support before you invest in the lifetime. As far as I know, you need to purchase the game anyway even if you get a lifetime subscription.

Actually, with the LTS you now get a copy of the game with the purchase.
