Aegis and crafting - what have you done Cryptic!?!

Gotta say Cryptic - the Aegis and Borg sets look fantastic, well done. The Aegis set also finally got me into crafting - it is great to finally be able to craft all of the items avilable in the game. So please, keep up the good work :D

My only complaint, the Aegis shield effect looks better on saucer type ships, it just doesn't quite work on the Defiant. Got me to go back to my old Devrish class though, and you know what - it looks really good now!

I am also not complaining about the sudden gold rush on the exchange and people paying crazy prices for data samples that can be obtained in less than an hour :p - made 30 million ECs today

What have they done? They have made me filthy rich!

Main complaint... Aegis Deflector does not agree with my Intrepid.
Love the effect. Hate the clipping of it.

yeah i spend 1.750.000 on one trace partical because i was one short for the complete set.

was worth it though, at least i could use all those EC for something usefull for once.

and i got my Sovereign back out of spacedock because the Set looks a lot more impressive on it then on the Galaxy Class.... i even respecced only because of that !

good thing though that the set is bind on equip and not on pickup, so i can email the set to my other toons.

I already have all the Traces I need for the Aegis set...if I'm lucky, I should have enough of the other samples too. Might have to spend a million to buy some if I'm short though.

Are the Aegis stuff bind on equip or pickup?

yes the crafting is a plus since i have so many stockpiled samples on my fed i can email the stuff to my KDF toon and not feel 'cheated' in any way.

I agree that the effect needs more tuning on the defiant and didnt really notice anything extra on the hegtha BoP...but the sets are well done and cant wait for class specific ones to come along.

It took me 7 hours in B'tran (1 hour per day) to get enough anomalies to make 4 complete sets. Anyone buying them is really just not wanting to make any effort in the game. :)

Now that people have started buying red samples (something you can get probably 50 of in an hour in Delta Volanis) from the exchange....there's no limit to what people would rather buy than farm themselves.

A good example of why is some of my friends only have about 30 min a day if they are lucky to play. They would rather team pew pew than float around looking for samples.
