I live, and I have returned!

After being offline for way too long, I have re-established an Internet connection at home, and am able to return to regular gameplay and community activity.

Qapla′!
Success!

For those honorless petaQ who have forgotten about me, allow me to refresh your memories (*unsheathes d'k tahg*) -- and if you are seeing me for the first time, allow me to introduce myself (*raises a mug of bloodwine*)...

DeyvID ′oH pongwIj′e′. tlhIngan jIH!
My name is Deyvid. I am a Klingon!

Born in 1974, I have been a Trekkie for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories, from when I was three years old in pre-school, is playing with Bristol Blocks and trying to build the USS Enterprise from TOS, but being disappointed that they didn't have the right shaped pieces for the saucer or the secondary hull. I've been boldly going where no one has gone before ever since.

I started following the development of "Star Trek Online" in early 2007, back when the license was still in the hands of Perpetual Entertainment. When Cryptic opened the doors to the website of their new and improved STO, I became as permanent a fixture on these forums as Morn was in Quark's Bar, and when the community expanded to include a Cryptic-sanctioned IRC chat room, I was a daily regular there too (was even recruited to be one of the select few from the community to serve as volunteer moderators for the IRC room). I was also one of the lucky enough to be part of both the closed and open beta for STO. When STO launched, I captured the opportunity to purchase a Lifetime subscription! Then, unfortunately, shortly after STO launched, my financial situation took a turn for the worse and I lost internet access at home -- was only able to get online sporadically at my friend's house across the street (he's also a Lifetime member of STO).

Now that I'm back online (with an even faster connection than I had before) I will definitely be patrolling Klingon space, as well as the STO forums, on a regular basis again.

Any good Klingon fleets around these days?
