Greetings all! Would it be possible, sometime down the road of course, to add the Command Division to the list of player classes? Perhaps change the current line-up of Tactical, Engineer and Science to Command, Operations and Science? Also, perhaps, create "prestige" classes such as tactical and engineer for operations, primary science and medical for the science class and something along the lines of administration or yeoman for command. Just a thought.
Whilst being an interesting idea, I don't think this would work. First off, such a system would be no better than what we have now, as realistically, every single player character should be in the Command division, given that he or she is a starship captain (consequently, my Vulcan Sci does wear Command-red). Perhaps it would be better to see the careers you choose from during character creation as "background packages".
Secondly, the game uses colour codes to clearly distinguish between the classes. What colour would you give to Command? Red or gold? What about Tactical or Engineering, then? Given how skills and powers work right now, I really don't think merging them into a single career is practicable. They're too different and you would have to rework half the game to make them fit.

Starfleet is divided into the three divisions of tactical, science, and engineering. They each have their own sub-categories and can each go into command. So technically command isn't an entirely new class, just a common goal.
