Well we got about 6 new missions, for gathering data samples... for crafting.
...
So yeah, we can do that now.
I personally would like to see a few more missions between cmndr and captain... that is a painful grind.
Also, it would be nice if we could have our 'off duty' costume slot work correctly, and about 2 or 3 new klingon costumes available in the c-store.

THAT, would make Klingons just a little nicer.
I'd settle for territory control and a few more PvP maps. If Klingons were meant to be a PvP faction, they didn't have much variety out of the gate in that regard. .3 Ground Arenas .3 Space Arenas .1 Capture and Hold
+2 Warzones (formerly PvPvE mode)
============================= .9 PvP-capable maps at launch

After playing with the foundry for a bit, one thing that really struck me was the ease at which you can make space maps. Im not a developer but it seems like it would take very little time and resources to quickly make 2-4 pvp maps using the same hookups that the current maps use.
I really want a warzone map that doesn't have any objectives outside of killing X number of starflet/klingon enemy ships on the map (even just make it a 15 minute timer for a map reset like in Kerrat). Anything to avoid the que system would work wonders for pvp because I enjoy killing enemy ships but I HATE waiting 20 minutes to do so.
This is really about 90% of the reason why I bother with Kerrat, there is usually a good group of Klingon there who just want to fight.
The KDF has improved a ton since launch. Star clusters, faction specific episodes, new ships, crafting, "weekly"(LOL) episodes, and a new sector has been opened up on the map to the KDF. Its a long way from perfect, mind you. But I think I can finally have fun with the Klingon faction, especially with the Foundry
These should be acknowledged too. Cryptic has made the faction more PvE-friendly (good on them)
That's not really saying much.
It's still a horrible grind to max level as a Klingon. The Foundry should help, but I still don't like the fact that the only way to get a decent amount of content in this game is to have the people who PAY for the game make it, instead of the people who GET PAID to make it.

Agreed, brother.
Also, perhaps one of you foundry-heads can help me with this - how do you chose mission rewards, or can you do that?
That really depends on your personal opinion. Season 3 did not "revolutionize" KDF gameplay, but - like yet another puzzle piece being added to the greater whole - it does contain a lot of "new fun" for the Klingon faction. The cargo raids in particular are quite brilliant, even if you don't need the crafting stuff. A good combination of gameplay (collecting resources), fun (cool space battles) and fitting faction style (convoy raids).
They do seem to underline my opinion that the KDF does not have a lot of content - but the content that the Klingons do have is qualitatively better than the Fed Standard.
In response to Darren, though, I'd also like to see some new options for PvP (or PvPvE) some time in the future - preferrably a true Open PvP warzone a la some sort of "Neutral Zone Sector", complete with stuff like outposts to capture and player-escorted freighters to raid. </dream>
Anyways, it's a far cry from the monotony that we had at launch.

I'm not saying your wrong, but sitting around crying about it doesnt accomplish anything. I'm going to make the most of the Foundry because its better than NOT having it. But people who are opposed to the "principal of the matter" are free to not have anything to do if they want.
I have levelled many a klingon toon and im on another now.
with the fact klinks start at level 6, the eps the added in season 2, the 2 weekly series, the patrols that came with them in orellius and eta eridani, the high end missions, the sorties, star clusters , defend the empire missions and pvp you can very comfortably get through about half of the levelling process very easily and enjoyably.
the other 50% is still a bit of a grind in truth but another featured series starts in jan and we have the foundry on the way so every month its really does get better and better. it will never be exactly what the feds have because they always started from a poor position but because some of the early content in the game for feds was not the best levelling a klingon can be a better experience in terms of the quality you do see.
Also, perhaps one of you foundry-heads can help me with this - how do you chose mission rewards, or can you do that?
The system sets the XP/credit rewards for you based on a number of factors. This is done to prevent people from abusing the system to make it too easy to level.
Also, there's still more Klingon Content on the way. We aren't done with you guys yet!

i have found the sorties to be excellent and look forward to any other unique missions you guys might throw at us (along with some sort of open pvp that was mentioned)
i do still hope to see the odd klingon episode thrown in from time to time along with the weekly episodes. whilst they are great, nothing has yet captured the klingon feeling as much as the 8 unique eps we got in season 2. the weekly eps do still feel very much like fed eps that klingons get to play.
if its not currently possible to get klingon only eps due to time restraints, perhaps the weeklies could try to focus more on having choices that differ so playing a fed will give you a different experience to playing a klingon, or at least both sides have two paths, one more fed like and the other more klingon like. the devidian series touched on it briefly but not as much as it could be.

Some people are just never happy. Thanks for the great work so far guys. Looking forward to some great new stuff.

May you die before you are captured.
I don't think episode replay has been mentioned. And, apart from Accolade hunters, it does benefit the KDF more because you can now also replay those great episodes that are still too limited in number for repeat XP.
... Did anyone else just get reminded of the old Star Fleet series of computer games by Interstel? The second one was 'Krellan Commander,' with the Krellans being Interstel's expies for the Klingons. It had a planet-hopping, sector domination theme, and one of the aspects was invading and taking over enemy colonies. Star Legions was a highly-polished expansion of that sub-game, involving the invasion, takeover, and defense of colony worlds.
In other words... Anyone else want a sort of mini-game involving landing troops and taking over planets in the name of the Empire/Federation? Select troops to beam down, send down landing barges with heavy armor vehicles, send down packs of warriors, etc.?

Wow...not done yet?...heheheheheheh...If you can give us some toys, ship skins, and missions, I think you'd never hear from alot of us again...well, except to offer cookies...speaking of cookies...I have some to offer you for giving us crafting...well the ability to craft what we need....
i rolled a second klingon toon with the release of season two, the promise then being more pve missions.....well we got 8 mission spread out over 40 levels.
another 6 missions with season 3.......
i'll come back in about 3 years at this rate.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that. nail on the head.
The future is looking mighty bright for the Empire.
Unfortunately, the Foundry isn't out on Holodeck yet, but... People already created already tons of missions the Foundry, and that includes quite a few Klingon missions as well. I checked in my first KDF mission, Collective Assault, yesterday, and when I was testing it with my "real" character, I noticed that the list of available missions was already fairly long... And it took me some while to realize that these are all KDF missions!
I'd say the future looks bright for all factions. Sure, not all missions will be good, but there still will be plenty, and it's not like all Cryptic missions are good, either.

As near as ive been able to gather, you wont be able to. The devs have mentioned it would be to open to abuse so its simply not an option.

Outpost capture? Large scale fleet engagements? Riot suppression? Planetary conquest? A daily ground combat mission, perhaps?
