exactly what the title says

i'd like my characters to play the missions i've created and im sure a lot of other people have wondered the same thing (otherwise its just me xD)

it makes sense to be that you have created them, you will at least be able to play them

PS. understandably, rating will be disabled, all I wan to do is play my missions :(

anyone else had the same thought?

How about if we had a holodeck on our ship, and could 'load' the foundary missions onto it like a holodeck program we created?

Then we just 'enter when ready' and our character 'play' our own mission?

Is that more what you were going for?

you can. I played my own mission with one of my characters. You have to have rewiew off though since you can't reveiw you own missions. So if you are set to be a reviewer just "stop reviewing" and you should be fine.

You can just wait for someone else to review it. Once it gets a set number of plays, it appears in the public search.

My missions showed up for me to play after 1 reviewer played it.

I was under the impression that 5 reviews were required. Mind you, you dont actually have to write anything, just cast a vote at the end of the mission. So your mission may become playable without anyone actually writing anything. But anyway, as already stated, you CAN play your own missions, so this thread is requesting something that is already possible.

I was under the impression that 5 reviews were required.

I can't tell. It says I have 5 reviews in the Foundry info screen, but I believe only one person tried it, because I asked them to. I am sure it said 0 reviews. Then after the person I asked rated it, it jumped to 5.

Perhaps they are just bumping that up artificially on tribble so that people's missions can be tested faster? I'm sure it will probably be set to 5 on Holodeck.

Edit: Did you see the review I put for your "Distress Call" mission? I know it was the first test one you did, but that was too hard for me to beat the first squad of Romulans. The two centurion medics kept healing each other and the Romuland commander next to them kept topping up their shields, making them all invincible. Then, after two hours, I ran through the ship and taking a look at the other 4 squads, I saw they were all like that and just gave up. :p It's the only Foundry mission so far I've been unable to finish.

no you dont have to commit yourself to anything.

you can click to become a reviewer, play your mission then unclick it again if you want.

I must be missing some fundamental thing as everything I check the mission list nothing shows for any category. I even type in words for mission title guesses and still nothing. Something is amiss if you guys can see missions.

are you set as a reviewer. should be down the bottom of the page.

edit - this is only on tribble NOT holodeck. that will show up as blank.

Yeah I'm a reviewer. So tribble only - that is what I thought. This thread is in the wrong forum. For a minute there I thought I was missing something... :(

People need to stop posting this stuff in the general discussion forum.

Even I was confused as to whether the OP meant cross-shard access to missions was turned on (and as of this afternoon, it isn't).
