Mini-Map suggestion for use in place of Astrometrics.

As I"ve said elsewhere, I love the new Sector Space. I also found out how to turn off Planet indicators and ship reticules, unless moused-over or targeted. I'm very happy with the aesthetics, now. Thanks.

So... I'm gonna show my appreciation, by asking for something else to make me even happier with these settings.

Objects in the Mini-Map respond to mouse-over, by showing an info label. Let's also have them select/target the object, when clicked. This would be helpful, not just for operating sans reticules, but also for targeting ships out of view (Behind, Above, Below).

Additionally, it would be great if, we could get Anomalies and Systems in the Exploration Sectors to show on the Mini-Map so they might also be selected.

Thanks.

Should have anomalies in sector space as well :). Your idea seems like a good addition to help with targeting things behind you or across the map.

It would be a great help in the DSE's, where you're surrounded by ships at carting altitudes.

The only problem I see with this is on ground PvP that it could potentially be an issue. It wouldn't really bother me though and I would welcome this idea.

I think DSE and anomalies in sector space should be modified though with your BOff saying there is an annomoly and asking you if you want to investigate. When you say yes you could be pulled into a scan the five annomolies or a DSE!

I have to admit, I'm not that familiar with Ground PvP. Could you explain your concern?

Just that as your running around someone can target you from around the corner or another room. You may not take notice to your minimap to see that someone is there and you start getting ganked especially if they have that rifle that shoots through walls!

Just a concern but I don't think it would be that big of an issue.
