I hate to say it but yeah, lay off the tribbles for a while. I've got several special tribbles and so far they don't really do much for me. I love my tribble of borg but so far i can't see any difference with its Borg buff or using any other tribble. Especially against the crack powered STF Borg swarms and their never ending holds.....
Y'know what would be great? A "chef" bO. The holidays are all filled with great food and the majority of major holiday references in Trek mention the chef. There's even a Klingon chef in canon.
The first holiday episode of Trek ever was a Thanksgiving episode where Gene Roddenberry played the (off-camera) chef who was ordered to make the meatloaf look like turkey.
The chef was a big recurring part of Enterprise and Voyager... and DS9 had a Klingon chef, giving us a cross faction model for what a chef is.

They'd have to be fat. My grandma taught me to never trust a skinny cook. Has to be a reason they don't like their own cooking, you know, those skinny cooks.
It's not a tribble. The artists are still working on it. There is a fed and klg version.
Dan, you do know that I was just kidding about having a Wesley Crusher NPC following us around on our bridge as a reward, right? Right? Please tell me we can at least launch them out of the nearest airlock for the sake of entertainment?

I woulfd think a torpedo tube would be more suitable, and preferable

I think it's going to be a BOFF
Too bad I didn't test anything during that weekend
What about a tribble boff? hehe!
I can just imagine a giant tribble floating around with my crew

I'm really curious to see what it is.
Noooooooooooooooooooooo, was so hoping for a Dabo tribble
Hmmmmm.
My first thought was a Star Trek-inspired pilgrim off-duty costume or maybe a Santa suit, Trek-style.
With the title being "Genesis", however...
I could see the Feds getting a Genesis researcher look:

Maybe Kruge boots, gloves, and medallion, KDF-side.

How awesome would a chef be?

OMG... NOT a Tribble?
Then it can be EVERYTHING... :eek: *imagination goes wild*
btw. do we have any info on what we had to actually DO to get the reward?
One or Two hours connected?
Because i was on Tribble 2 times for over one hour and then it disconnected me while zoning... :rolleyes:

The official #STO "completely fake but plausible rumor" shall henceforth be: it's a Glommer.
I completely support and will make efforts to spread this completely unsubstantiated rumor as fact.
(I haven't had this much fun since I started the darts minigame rumor back in July)
Aw, was hoping for the supersized tribble that sits in your captain's chair.
It could be a tribble covered bridge. Dstahl didn't say which art team was working on it.
is it one of the following ?
* A uniform
* A beagle/gorn dog
* A Undine
* Stormshade dressed as a Klingon/Fed guy going down a hill in a wheely bin
* A banana ?
That would be a really amazing ground trophy for the mess hall.
It's a Hologram of Santa's Sleigh that you can slap on yer Crusier/Escort but it's gonna cost ya $8 Million EC's to replace the battery. :eek:
Now that would be awesome, just as long as it doesn't come with Mickey/Rickey......I wouldn't mind a Doctor-Donna bridge officer though.......:D
I wonder how many people are going to understand that reference
