Nice list ... though it's a bit to literal in some cases, and a bit "proper" in others ... Some suggested additions ...
PvE: Player versus Enemy.
PvP: Player versus Player.
F2P: Free to Play.
P2W: Pay to win.
Toon: The player character you use in game.
Alt: A second or third etc. Character that you don't use as often.
Main: Main Character that you use regularly, generally used to describe the character that has the most gear/resources/money/highest skills etc.
Spam: Can be used to describe any large amount of on screen effects, or items, such as "FAW Spam" describing multiple ships using this power. Or "Torp Spam" for multiple Torpedos. Can also be used to describe low level enemy ships in certain larger zones.
Pets: Any Ship or Fighter than can be equipped into a ships Hangar. Also used to describe the AI controlled component of ships that "split" such as the Galaxy-X or the Haakona Warbird
DoFF, DOFF: Duty Officers
BFAW, FAW: Beam Fire at will (the more common used, abbreviated version)
BO: Beam overload (the more common used, abbreviated version)
HYT: High Yield Torpedo (the revers of the one you posted, usually refering to the warhead, rather than the Bridge Officer ability)
Torps: Torpedo's
ESTF: Used for pretty much any Elite difficulty PvE queued Team map
BZ: Battle Zone (usually prefixed with Voth or Dyson for ground and Undine for Space)
Tac: Tactical Captain/Officer
Engi: Engineering Captain/Officer
Sci: Science Captain/Officer
Fed: Federation/Federation Faction character/player
Klink: Klingon or KDF Faction character/player
Rom/Rommie: Romulan or Romulan Faction character/player
Romfed / Romklink: Either a Federation Aligned Romulan character/player or a KDF Aligned Romulan character/player
NM: Never Mind
NP: No problem
Vape: vapourize (frequebtly used in relation to PvP)
Tard: Derogatory term or Insult (as in "Scimitard" or someone who fly's a Scimitar Dreadnought badly)
PVE most of the time refers to Player vs. Environment (usually referring to missions you can queue for through the PVE window).
ESTF (Elite Special Task Force) are Elite Borg STF missions that provide Omega marks.
EPVE refers to any of the PVE (aside from STFs) that are elite.
(EDIT) Also, the term tard is short for the derogatory, and insulting term TRIBBLE, which refers to ones with less mental abilities. It has been used with the name of Scimitars to insult the pilots of them for different reasons. Sometimes it is used to insult pilots of Scimitars that make mistakes, or have trouble flying them. However, it is also used to insult Scimitar pilots that upset others that don't like the Scimitars getting higher DPS that they cannot get, or just because the Scimitar pilots didn't do what they wanted them to.

PVE most of the time refers to Player vs. Environment (usually referring to missions you can queue for through the PVE window).
Whilst that may be what it technically means, in these forums, it's more a generic term used to describe and Player vs Game or Player vs A.I. content = Player vs Enemy as opposed to Player vs Player
ESTF (Elite Special Task Force) are Elite Borg STF missions that provide Omega marks.
Again, technically correct, but in the forums, the terms STF and ESTF are more commonly used to refer to any of the missions revolving around the collecting of all Reputation Marks not just Omega
EPVE refers to any of the PVE (aside from STFs) that are elite.
This is one acronym I have never actually read on the forums, though it may exist, it certainly is not in common usage, which I thought was the whole point of this list?

[*]Noob / Nub: New Player Unfamiliar with Protocols (bad version).
[/QUOTE]
Generally noob doesn't always mean new player, hence why we have two words, newb and noob, with newb meaning a new player that hasn't learnt something yet and noob meaning any player who does something stupid when they should know better.
Again, technically correct, but in the forums, the terms STF and ESTF are more commonly used to refer to any of the missions revolving around the collecting of all Reputation Marks not just Omega
You are correct that occasionally some people on the forums refers to the PVE missions as SFTs, however there are ones that correct them also. This is to help keep new players from getting confused, because there are both STFs, and PVE that you can queue for. Calling everything you queue for a STF will only cause confusion, since they are two different things.
That is why STF, or ESTF are more commonly used to refer to the Borg Special Task Force (STF) missions. None of the other missions in the PVE queue refer to them.
Also, the term PVE is used mostly to refer to the missions (aside from STFs) you queue up for in the PVE queue window. If someone is talking about an episode, them they usually use the word episode, and not PVE. This shows that the term PVE most of the time refers to the missions in the PVE queue window. Though, when it is also used in reference to refer to non-PVP content in the game, however when people refers to playing PVE missions, and they do not mention "episodes", then it is more commonly understood that they are not speaking of the episodes, which are Player vs. Game (A.I.), but the missions from the PVE queue window.
This is one acronym I have never actually read on the forums, though it may exist, it certainly is not in common usage, which I thought was the whole point of this list?
It is true that this acronym is not commonly used in the forums, because most players usually refer to the name, or acronym of the PVE mission, with either Elite in the name, or an E in the acronym to identify the specific mission they are talking about. The reason I mentioned it is because you said that the acronym ESTF refers to all of the queue missions. This is incorrect.
As I mentioned above, PVE missions refer to the missions in the PVE queue window that are NOT the STF missions. The STF missions refer to the Borg missions. This is why, when someone refers to other missions in the PVE queue as a STF, which does happen sometimes, someone tries to correct them.
When someone starts referring to something like a Azure Nebula Rescue as a STF, it can get confusing to new players that are also told that STF means Special Task Force, and refers to the Borg missions, since there are no Borg in that PVE mission. Then, someone else needs to explain that someone used STF in the wrong context.

I LOLed when you said Acura Nebula Rescue. Apparently there are Acuras in the 25th century, who knew! . Anyway back to serious matters the name would be Azure Nebula Rescue. Thanks for the laughs. Good thread by the way with its dictionary portion and people chiming in. Brilliant and thanks again!

Lol. I didn't even notice it. I am using a tablet to type, and only have about 3 inches of screen to type in. Also, with eye problems hitting me, it only makes it harder. Thanks for correcting me on that.
That is funny though. Especially since I don't like those cars. Lol.

Also that. But I thought that two OP's was enough.
So if you want, you can have the OP OP's OP. Are you happy now? ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?!?!?
"Are you not entertained ?!?!" ... Sorry couldn't resist ...

I guess, a list like this will always be "fluid" and ultimately, there will always be a certain amount of individual interpretation, as in the "STF" issue for instance ...
As long as most find it useful, and the basics are covered, I guess that's all that can be done.
Trying to 'force' people into using 1 specific interpretation of an acronym though, is like trying to separate a Ferengi from his Latinum - Guaranteed to cause argument, and Doomed to failure
What is the meaning of RNG? I've seen it in some forum posts; sadly, many veteran players assume others will know what is meant, so I'm glad to see a thread like this.

Stands for "Random Number Generator" ... Basically a computer programme that "simulates" random numbers such as those from a thrown dice ... Unfortunately computers can't actually do "random" they have to be programmed with parameters, so an RNG can sometimes not actually be "random".
It's used in games to give a chance of one or another event/item/stat occurring. Such as the chance of a certain modifier on items in the new crafting system.

Some shorts can have more meaning.
I can talk about the OP OP. What did I say? The OverPowered Opening Post. Same short, double meaning.
If we really want to have a strong list, we should not only include every possible term we use here, but also their context meanings.
