1 account running on 2 computers at the same time: is this possable?

A while back I gave my brother a character slot on my account to let him try STO. He's not a Trek lover, but I thought he would like the gameplay.

I have another computer that might be able to run STO and was wondering if it was possable to not only to run the same same client on 2 computers at the same time, But if I can run 2 characters on my account at the same time.

That was my brother and I can play at the same time (cause I know he won't buy the game).

If not, then ah well.

I don't think so. You can do the opposite though! i've run two accounts on one computer before.

I say leave your brother alone, if he really wants to play it then he'll buy it. I tried it with my bro who's as big a trekky as i am. I bought him a copy and paid for an extra month to boot, did he play it then? hell no! lazy git, atleast i got to dualbox with his account and get that 'heal 5 rommies' accolade...

No, he would need his own subscription to the game

Most MMOs don't allow account sharing anyway, so even if it were possible you would get in trouble for doing so

Just give him a buddy key and make him buy one month's sub. Get your photonic BO. If he doesn't like it, then he can drop out after that.

How would one do this? I have two accounts and would love to have two characters to RP at the same time :D

Easy enough, just open up the launcher twice and login under your different usernames for each copy. STO will happily allow atleast two instances of it running on the same machine.
