The point remains. I've had several instances where NPC's and anomalies have been trapped within the terrain. They've still been able to fire at me. The NPC's remain untargetable even as I'm taking damage. The anomalies attract the sensor scan and their indicators are partially visible, but they cannot be interfaced.
Most recently my entire away team got stuck under the terrain as they were following me {I noticed this after tossing a grenade into a group of hostiles). I beamed in and out several times to clear them. Each time they all eventually got stuck at a variety of locations. One managed to get out somewhere along the way.
One or two NPC's in that instance got stuck as well. They they were still stuck after beaming in and out.
Soooo..... assuming this is an unintended consequence, I'll stand by my suggestion that terrain be flat and uninteresting, rather than a bug magnet.
