The Tier 5 Olympic would have some sort of medical based ability. Perhaps healing crew on all adjacent vessels or something. But look... so unique. It takes risks...
I think it should be a Tier 5 almost pure support ship.
You know, unlike all the lame-brain requests for T5 Miranda's and Constitution's this one actually makes sense.
Since the Olympic "is" a late 24th Century ship.

wait what about a updated miranda for the tac guys ???? wow i feel the icy stare of the tac guys already...brrrr
No offense.............but I always thought the Olyimpic class ships looked like the Death Star got horizontally compromised with a deep sump oil pan off a Chevy 350...............might be the fugliest ship in the ST universe......

Why does "no offense" always precede something meant to be incendiary, or at least condescending?
Because you don't pre-apologize to someone when agreeing with them.
It still seems as bland and mass-produced as the "honestly" prefix that is so often used these days to somehow decorate an opinion as something more than what it is.
A T5 Olympic would be pretty sweet. But what would it's special ability be? I mean, it's most famous for being a "hospital ship", but that's a role that is almost exclusively non-combat. So it'd have a... what? Super-crew recovery power? That would be kinda lame. Maybe some kinda.... super-shield buffing power? Ooo, OR as a ship that's used almost exclusively for very passive roles, and renowned for it's scientific abilities, it'd have very advanced equipment on board. Maybe give it that insane Metaphasic Shielding ability I see some faction-agnostic ships use? It can have a few moments of pure invulnurability, can't fire any of it's weapons, but can still use it's abilities, SO it could float around completely safe for a few seconds and toss buffs and control moves everywhere!
In all other respects, though, I could definetely see it at T5. Maybe a bit more durable than the Intrepid, but not as much as the Luna or the Destiny. The thing is built like a light cruiser is, and that spherical section does have room for lots of crew.
3rd ugliest canon ship. I cannot in good conscience support this. But I promise I won't whine if it does happen. 2nd place: Curry
1st place: Yeager-type
I dunno if it's a "disservice", per se. I'd say the ship has been pretty fairly represented in the game so far. But it would be pretty neat if there was a T5 version sometime down the line.
At least Cryptic wouldn't have to go through the design and approvals proccess again, LOL.

I'd like that.:D
Heck, if they made the Oberth-class for STO, I'd want them to put a deflector disk on it's hull. It looks bare.

Not all of us hate the "golf ball." Frankly, I love it. It invokes 2001: A Space Odyssey to me.

Not having this available at T5 is a disservice to all Star Trek fans, even if you hate the look.
