Devs,
Would it be possible to use the Weeky Series to bring us iconic planets, such as Betazed, Trill, Ferenginar, Babel, or perhaps even Earth? Of course, beyond these there are many options to choose from.
You did an excellent job creating the Defera sector, perhaps something similar could be done for the Betazed system?

Add Tellar Prime to that list. We need all the planets of the founding members of the Federation.
Thanks for pointing out the exact reason I want to visit.
This. We definitely need a much larger sector space. I always wanted a much larger world map to work in, especially with UGC coming. Hopefully, we'll see an enlargement of sector space to accommodate more systems to visit and have missions for.
Actually...
The nudity on Betazed is pretty much only during weddings... and Ferengi women wear clothes. They had a LOT of cultural reforms since Rom took over. Women wear clothes and are fully emancipated..
agreed we need missing sectors added
Tell me a reason not to want to go there
I think on betazed, nudity was more during traditional events.
They've been talking about removing the walls between sector blocks in sector space at some point in the near to mid-future. If/when/once that happens, space will get a lot bigger.
Not to say we don't need more sectors, of course.
I guess I'm fine with the walls. I understand why they're in place and such. I really just want more star systems to go to in general. Most systems as they are now, you visit once and you never go back. At least open up more systems or give us more missions in the existing ones.
FINE.
GO be nudists with your nude nudity then.
Next you'll be petitioning for DELTANS...
I want to live long enough to enjoy it
I always figured if this took longer than usual, they could find a smoother way to transition sectors in the meantime; i.e., remove the traffic control lackies.
If it were me, I'd put a warning that would pop up (but not stop the ship) about where the traffic controller would normally pop up. The warning would either tell you "You can't travel to Deep Space" or what have you, or "Nearing Beta Ursae Sector Block...". As soon as you touch the wall, sector transfer initiates if available. Eliminates the annoying traffic folks and is a step in the right direction while they work on removing sector seams altogether.
Gamma Ceti Sector Block - (Inbetween Beta Ursea, Alpha Trianguli...basicly the whole left side Sirius)
Xyrillia Sector
Betazed Sector
Draylon Sector
Places
Terra Nova System (ENT: "Terra Nova")
Betazed System (TNG: "M
And the Edo
I fancy going for a jog now
I find it funny that no-one seemed to have seen your post Darren :P at least no-one responded to it lol
I can give you a reason not to go to Ferenginar... Nude female Ferengi........ do you really need another reason?
That's actually a pretty good idea. +1
Thanks.
The only issue with my little idea is, you'd still probably see your ship bump into the "wall", which would kill any illusion it would have built up otherwise, but it's better than the system in place now.
Trouble there is how to involve the Klingons....
I guarantee you there is a way to do it though that isn't too odd or game breaking.
If you ignore the heads, it may not be so bad
In fact, I believe his exact words were "new, better social instances."
Presumably, once they're designed, missions can take place there: be they a weekly series, a special event, or utilized as part of the Foundry (see Mapolis' interview as to how this works).
Well, I was thinking a well placed Transwarp Conduit could open up access to any new area.
Of course, I personally would rather a formal truce be formed between the KDF and UFP, to allow ships to venture to these new weekly missions with diplomatic immunity, or something. Placing every weeky in the Neutral Zone would seem very boring, not to mention would stifle creative storytelling.
One solution would be to just end the war and bring back the Khitomer Accords. If people want to FVK, it can be considered "war games" like the FVF. And then there are no problems with Klingon ships traveling through Federation space, and vice-versa.
