i watched some videos of the new sector space on youtube and my anticipation has fallen slightly. I am still impressed but the grid at the bottom of sector space can still be seen and warp travel seems too quick.

im not trying to sound like i am unthankful. I am, but I just think that the sector space revamp should have been more significant

Im not sure if you noticed in the videos but you can turn all of the UI elements off.

That means the grids, popups, system names, "lolipop" sticks etc.

There are two main modes of travel in the new sector space.

Astrometrics on-This is largely what we have seen in the Opelia (breen) sector with a few changes.

Astrometrics off-This is what you see in this video. :)

    No problem. :)

I HIGHLY suggest if you have the space to download tribble and transfer a character over if your really interested.

The videos are very nice but they pale in comparison to flying around, if you do check out all the nebular bodies in the game. The all have a neat effect when you fly into them. :D

I have one question about transfering a player to the tribble server. Is that transfered character stuck there or can i bring him back to the regular server

All it does is send a copy of your character to Tribble, not the actual character.

I created the three videos listed above.

I turned the grids on only during the second half of the first video.

These two have no grids and of higher quality:

The grid shown is what it looks like with the UI (similar to Orelius/Deferra Sector), which in itself is a huge improvement over the current sector space. Turning off the UI is 1000 times better.
