Playable captured Ships in c-store

You should put a captured Klingon ship like the HMS Bounty from Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home or a TOS Constitution for the Klingon's or a captured Romulan ship for the Klingon's in the c-store.

    14. Respect is the name of the game. You must respect your fellow members and refrain from inflammatory comments as well as flaming, taunting, and general disrespect. Do not simply put down the opinion or advice given by others. If you don't agree with it, say why - respectfully. Don't just tell them they're wrong. Do not make uninvited remarks about typos, duplicate posts, posting styles, etc.

Personally, I agree, a T5 B'Rel with a regular Battle cloak for Feds.

A T5 Connie Retrofit for both factions (when Kruge's crew beamed over to the 1701 in ST III: TSFS it had already been refit, and I don't remember the KDF ever capturing a TOS Connie).

Another way to get Carrier for UFP... capture it from KDF :D

It is silly ... in times of war such ship could easy be destroyed from it's own faction.
But if you want to look like other faction, holoemiters are your best friends.
Just add such in game (EC sink) and C-Store... and you could fly Interpid with B'Rel look :)

My main is a ship collector. So I support any and all ships being brought over to the feds and klingons.

Some people like to catch them all. I like to collect them all. =]

"I don't remember the KDF ever capturing a TOS Connie"

Id rather factions stayed separate and kept their own ships.

im not against a misison requiring you to use another ship, like we had in night of the comet or the klingon misison where they steal a runabout but not permanently.
each faction should be unique and having players fly the other factions ships permanently crosses that line for me.

I think the plan for Klingon "Diplomacy" that Gozer has been working on is captured (and possibly "Klingonized") Starfleet ships as a counter to Feds getting exchange officers.

I don't have a problem with the idea of captured ships as long as they're not max tier ships. They should either be a lower tier ship, or, more preferrable, a T0/1 vanity ship

I think it was meant somewhat tongue-in-cheek. If they offered "captured" ships, they'd have to be nerfed versions....

In TOS the Romulans were hell bent to capture a Federation Starship alive (EP: The Enterpirse Incident) so it would make sense and there is a Klink mission where you steal a Fed Runamok...erm, Runabout. I think it would be a good idea with certain limits. What those limits are I can't quite put into words yet.

Some of the best Fan Fiction I've ever come across for Star Trek was a group of Ex Starfleet Officers buying a ruined hulk of a Romulan Winged Defender, fixing it up with Fed and Klingon tech and setting about the galaxy as a group of guns and cargo space for hire. Why not get some of that in STO?
