Carriers get 4, Escorts get 2, can't remember what science get.
But i just don't understand why everyone does not just get 4?
Its not like there are so many uber devices in the game that all ships having 4 would be overpowered.... i mean for crying out loud, you can only use on battery at a time, and you can even swap out batteries of their slots in mid-combat....
So... Can anyone tell me why having a Device limit on certain classes on ships is a "good thing"?
I was having the same discussion whit my buddy's the other day even if you use a bridge power the cooldown timer for all the ability's is not the same it should not be for a ship device either.
And you CANNOT swap them out wile under Red Alert. So you have to be out of combat to modify it. I agree. At VA, it makes no sense. (I can understand it more at the lower ranks. But it makes no sense at the upper ranks)

If they introduce more things like that which essentially provide an extra power, then I can totally understand a limit.
But if its mostly going to be batteries then I agree, 4 for everyone.
