K-7 size issue

Has anyone noticed that K-7 might be too big. Take the bottom pod for example, its as big as a tier 5 cruiser ingame, when on the memory alpha site, you see its a shuttlebay. Not saying to change it, ive just been wondering about it for a while.

all iconic stations are bigger than they really are, including ds9.

the designers say if you make it real to scale it ends up looking way to small and on the point of either being silly or not epic enough.

ds9 feels the right size when you see it in game until you compare it to your ship but it should be two or three times smaller and then it would look tiny.

Actually dStahl somewhere said that they made DS9 so big because otherwise they would not have been able to put so much Detail in it ...like in Textures.

Which makes kinda sense if you look at the horrible simple textures of the Shiips.

I just allways find it odd when i fly by a window that is as big as my Galaxy Class's Saucer Section...

but yeah K7 allways was a tiny tiny station, not much bigger then the Constitution Class actually

"The dimensions, crew complement and other facts about this type of space station are disputed. It would appear to be roughly the same size as, or slightly bigger than, a Constitution-class starship. It also appears to have docking bays, although it is unknown what the largest vessel is that it could accommodate. " source -> http://memory-alpha.org/wiki/K7
