Remember, the internet is a 2 way street. You may be able to download fast, but doesn't mean the other end can upload as fast.

You have cable internet. Very rarely are connections advertised at 5 MBps actually meet those speeds: it's oftentimes up to 5 MBps - especially on cable internet (and especially with some service providers who throttle internet services - like Comcast).

This is not to say it's the cable modem fault - but it's unlikely that this problem (since you said it occured more than once) is particular to Cryptic's end.

    here are some potential bottnecks:
    1. If you have stuttering despite the videobeing fully loaded, it can be video driver, Flash player, or hardware issue on your end.
    2. If the video is having to stop due to reaching the end of the buffered length, you might not be getting full speeds.

There's a slim chance that this is Cryptic's end. However, I've streamed videos just fine today despite server issues in-game (the game servers are likely separate servers from the site - since the game servers are located in MA, while the company is CA). It streamed fine on my 10 MBps DSL connection - no need to wait for a buffer.

    I'd suggest ensuring that:
    1. Flash Media Player is up-to-date (visit Adobe for more information)
    2. Your Video card is up to date
    3. No background programs are eating up either CPU, GPU, or bandwidth - playing a game while watching video can cause performance issues, especially since modern players take advantage of the GPU.
