Dynamic lighting fixed on Radeons yet?

I haven't played in a really long time.

I know I'm hoping for entirely too much, but has Dynamic Lighting been fixed on Radeon cards yet?

Just checked it on the new Tribble build in DX 11 mode.

Still crashed in Starbase 24. :(

LOL. I just posted in a thread about this hehe

No its not fixed. Which makes the 3rd Devidian episode a little bit pants. The torch effect is awesome, but you cant keep it on and play cos the Dynamic Lighting will crash you every few seconds.

    Very disappointed :(

The problem is alleviated if you turn down the number of dynamic lights. I have it set to 2 and that effectively solves the SB24 and other areas where you crash due to dynamic lights.

That having been said, I still had some crashes in the third Devidian episide. Didn't try disabling dynamic lights to see if that was the cause, but in any case I got through the episode without too much fuss.

Nope! Still crashing... Honestly when Dynamic light are on or off there really sin't that big of a change; except the most noticeable one I ever saw was the Devidan mission 3. Past that I can't really see a huge difference that makes dynamic lights worth while.

I've got a 1gb ATI 5770, and I found something out not so long ago. For those of you who are strugling with dynamic lights, try turning down the "maximum number of lights" down to 3.(the max is 5, and its in your Video settings just under the option for Dynamic Lights) Since i've done this I have had no problems with it crashing with dynamic lights turned on. And It still looks awsome.

As i understand it, its not Cryptic's problem, its AMD's.

Its pretty much evident by the fact that not all Radeon cards crash.
