AFAIK the models and textures were designed for another purpose and only were ported over,
so yes they could look better in the Fallout Engine but that realy isn't the point here...
the point is that STO has only 2 usable Bat'leths in the entire Game.... TWO!

I'm quite sure the modder will be exceedingly happy with you for the flack he'll get from various posters here thanks to this thread.
I'm all for adding much more melee weapons to STO, but pwned by the mod? I have to vote for 'no' on this one. They don't look very good at all, to be honest.
Hardly, and to say the graphics in these pics is sub par is an understatement. Don't know if it's your PC or the artwork but to the key word here is very underwhelmed. They look like they came from a mod and not a very hi-res mod at that.

Your point is pointless.
You pretty much described modding for any game "period" and that hardly PWNS anything.
Fans don't get paid for the work they do, and they dont have to plan or consult with anyone else.

In that case you could say that Cryptic got PWNED loooong ago by the Entire BC modding community?
I would rather have a baseball bat than these broken bat'leths.

Still, bring on more melee weapons Cryptic!
