With the update today, the Klingon skill tree has been updated with the new ships and the Vor'Cha, and a free repec token has been issued to enable Klingons to accurately spec into their ship now.
However, apparently the skills are messed up, as already reported on the Tribble Forums in the Official New Klingon Ship thread. It doesn't seem that Cryptic actually bothered to read the feedback given in that thread.
My Vor'Cha Battle Cruiser Refit has a total of 46,801 hull points if I am specced into the Heavy Battle Cruiser Captain, which would be for the Negh'Var. If specced into Battle Cruiser Retrofit Captain, which would be the right class, all of a sudden my Vor'Cha only has 43,106 hull points. Useless to say that I spent the free respec token to spec into the Vor'cha, just to spend 30,000 honor points to go back to my original spec.
Lesson #1 learned here: Testing and providing feedback on Tribble is useless.
Lesson #2 learned. Never use a free respec token the day of the update.
Lession #1 is not true. I've seen them act on countless things people have reported on tribble.
However, lession #2 -- I'll agree with since I was there when the respec tokens first came out hehe
Lesson 31 is true. There are 33 pages of feedback in the Official New Klingon Ship thread. The issue with the skill tree was brought up and described exactly. They haven't acted on anything but changing the ability of the new Cruiser to an active one instead of passive.
There was no response at all within this thread from Cryptic. And there also was not even a day time to test the changes they made. The result is obvious, a bugged update to the live server.
Oh keep yer pants on, it'll be fixed asap. Gotta say when I read the Orion Cruiser changes I was surprised... VERY surprised. I didn't think Cryptic would follow the input about changing that ability. Kudos to Cryptic.
The issue was fixed on the latest build on Tribble so we are investigating reports of the fix not being applied to Holodeck. If you notice any other inconsistencies between Tribble/Holodeck regarding these skills - please reply to this thread.

The Vor'cha respec issue and the white fighter icon on the Glorious Space Hippo, sorry I mean Orion cruiser, were the only issues I noticed
And are these all not also supposed to be available via the C-Store if we want more than one new ship?

That is exactly what I noticed... also turn rate went from 18.1 for me to 16.7

After talking with the c-store team - they said they'll be posting the account unlock versions in the c-store sometime today (most likely sooner than later)

I just checked on tribble, and it's not fixed there either. I still get the same hull variances on my Vor'cha.
We have identified the problem with the Tier 5 Vor'cha retro not utilizing the correct skills. We are working on a fix now. We are very close. Once we have confirmed the fix, we will get it out to you ASAP.
BTW, it is likely that new Vor'cha Retrofits purchased since the latest patch will work. The problem may be limited to previously purchased Vor'cha Retrofits.

Mine is a previously purchased Vor'cha. Since I used my respec token to spec into the Vor'cha, but after noticing it is bugged specced back to Negh'var using almost all my available honor points my guess is now that once you fix it I either fly the Negh'var, or fly the Vor'cha with the wrong spec until I accumulate enough honor points for a respec.
Oh wait, I can buy a respec from the C-Store, to kind of reward Cryptic for their mistakes.

I guess you meant to say
after talking with the marketing guys - they said they'll be posting the account unlock versions in the c-store sometime today (most likely sooner than later)
Mr Stahl... it s been a while now you haven t talked about the C store team... i wonder why...oh yeah most of the players realized there s no such entity when the same devs are working on C store and on normal game items... i thought you gave up on trying to make us believe there are some people working independantly for the STO C store ...so you can basically avoid the heat... It s very insulting. Remind us who is in charge and has sell objectives for the STO project? Thank you.

OMG! You mean Cryptic is... A BUSINESS! I just assumed they were a charity and the devs worked selflessly for the good of all mankind and lived off free replicated food. Who knew?

A business? And I thought this was a charity! I'm utterly shocked!

Hahaha, i see i m not the one with some dry sense of humour. you obviously missed the point... of course they are in the business to make money...you just don t have to do it by making up a ghost team to avoid direct complain... oh no no this has nothing to do with us...it s the C store team who did it... yeah right.!
it s called business ethic... i m not sure for you but i have no plan to be fouled twice...

Maybe they'll give out anther token, but I think the lost honor points is more of a "fee" for your impatience, this time.
Outstanding
Hey Geko, any ETA on that patch?
