Hello,
Romulans was annoyng with them but Undine... I have to use keys for turns (camera is issue there) so I could use my mouse for stupid point clicking.
Is there any other way to do this without Fire at will... those Undine are launching them almost constantly nevermind you stay in front/back or port/starbord of their ships?
There was some stores rewards I know, but nothing I sow available in game for automatic defense...

Silly thing is that I have tryed to use some plasma with HY in PvE, but NPCs shot them automaticaly... dumb AI extras :)

Hazard Emitters will help clear out the plasma fires that result.

As for taking them out - Fire at Will is one of your best bets. However, I believe Photonic Shockwave will also take a number of them out, and *maybe* Charged Particle Burst. I don't think I've tried Tractor Beam Repulsers on them yet - that might work. There may be others I haven't thought of.

    THIS!!!

    *Automated defense turret
    *Ph. Shockwave
    *Beam-FAW
    *Tractor Repulsors
    *Tractor Beam
    *Hazzard Emitter

**Right click on it and shoot it

**I have also noticed it you use a Target subsystem X ability your beams fire very rapidlyand if you press tab-key you can target and hit multiple stuff.

You know, I don't think I've ever seen this ability. I've heard about, just never seen it.

I know how to remove debuf... but when you got 1 torp each 5 seconds, it is totaly not catchable via BO skils
Point clicks each 5 seconds are most anoyng thing I have met in space part of game till now :)
Worst part is that I use to fly my ship with mouse (I feel it better this way)... and use keys for skils.
But those slow torps make this playstile not usable :(

I forgot to add Evasive Maneuvers to the list, at least to get some distance between you and said torpedo.

CPB works against them. USS Johnston has a resilient shield with a plasma resist on it for fights against factions using plasma torpedoes.

I also use mines as a countermeasure if I see one coming. The torpedo wil usually hit the mines before it hits you. The only ticky part there is to see it coming and make sure the mines are in the right position. I do this pretty consistently in PvE against Romulans, though. It takes up a weapon slot, but I use mines for other things too like crowd control and fly swatting.

As others said, FAW, Photonic Shockwave, Tractor Beam, Tractor Beam Repulsors, and Hazards work well too.

You can always hit tab to cycle through targets quickly. You don't have to point and click every target to target them.

I use this on my escort and get the majority of high yield torpedoes without having to rely on BO skills. That being said I always find fire at will to be really effective, especially if you have all your blind spots covered by beam arrays.

If there is a way to move tab select to other single key... it could be useful... cause I use my mouse with my left hand and tab key is too away to use.
    Will try thanks :)

Oh yeah under your options menu you can select key binds, so you can adjust it to pretty much whatever is convenient for you. Keep in mind however that it will no auto target the high yield torpedoes first, I usually find that looking at what you want to target cycles it faster.

If I see it coming, I'll right-click to shoot it. If I don't, I'll just use Science Team to heal the ship once it hits. My general strategy against those factions is to keep my distance to increase my reaction time.

But with four purple MkX anti-proton beams and four purple MkX quantums, they generally only have time to get one or two out per engagement anyway.

Hazard Emitters I is an Ensign ability. Any ship should be able to operate it. It's a skill that is good one to have anyway. I equip it on all ships in my inventory, and not just sci ships. CPB 1 I believe is a Lieutenant ability.

There are Target Subsystem abilities available to Tac Boffs, too. One of the new Tac officers I picked up yesterday has Beam Target Subsystems Engines II as a Lieutenant ability.

I've seen Tac Boffs with these abilities floating around in the Exchange, too. I don't need them, because I already have TSS equipped in my Intrepid, but it's out there.
