Ship Skill Changes -- What Affects New Ships?

Now that the new ships are in, and the skill trees have been revamped, what skills affect each of the new ships? Do any of the lower-tier battle cruiser skills contribute to stats on an Orion Patrol Cruiser, for instance? Do all the BoP skills feed into the new BoP? Does anything help the Gorn ship?

I'm asking because the info in the skills don't specifically say they apply to any of the new ships except for their tier 5 ship-specific skill. This is fairly important information when deciding how to respec.

The battle Cruiser skill tree through T4 affect all the ships save the BoP. The Vor'cha, Negh, Orion, and Gorn ships all have their own skill at T5.
