Several of us are waiting with baited breath for Foundry on Tribble.

Cryptic, could you be so kind as to add an anouncement on the log in screen when it hits Tribble ?

Also, if your inclined to say.....when it does hit Tribble...how do you open up that tool ? Just curious

MEOW :p

Having read the Foundry FAQ, when you load up STO like normal, at the login screen you will have a new button labelled 'Build' next to 'Play', and that will launch the Foundry tool.

I would assume that it will be launched much the same way as the in-game demo viewer: '/demorecord <name>' records a video, '/demorecordstop' stops recording, and launching the GameClient.exe (not the normal STO Launcher) with the command-line option '-demoplay <demo_name>' will launch the STO client, but rather than going to the character selection screen, it immediately begins playing the video. So, I suspect that when you click "Build" it will place you into the Foundry directly rather than placing you in-game with the Foundry Tool. (i.e. no chat options, and no way to actually play STO. Only Foundry resources are available.)
