    Hello,

I am sorry you did not enjoy the game, and that your perceptions are flawed. I hope that you will find yourself less discontented in another place. In the meantime, I hope you can enjoy the 8 bit graphics on your Commodore 64. Perhaps they will port this game to that system soon so that you can enjoy the superior graphical experience.

I'm not sure the Commodore 64 even had 8-bit graphics.

Combat. Well, I don't know how it gets later, this surely didn't keep me interested at all. This is where the horrible animations really shows it's ugly face.

And this is supposed to attract paying customers?

Good luck for the future - you're REALLY gonna need it.

    Hello,

Well, the Commodore 64 did have some pretty sweet graphics.

    Did you ever play Dig-Dug?

That C64 was something: Not as clumsy or random as the Atari. An elegant computer... For a more civilized age.

more proof that people will ***** about anything. If there's one thing universally acknowledged about STO, it's that it looks good.

'80 games had better graphics? What universe did you cross over from? Those early Atari and Nintendo systems were primitive to this game. Compare Pong from the '70 to Playstation one. World of difference.

P.S. Can I have your stuff?

Yeah...you couldn't just "not" reply could ya guys? Kinda like a drug..ever wonder why MMO forums are considered laughable when it comes to being taken seriously? Cause you actually give threads like this OP a life..-shrugs- don't blame others who come to Troll, they see fuel for their fire they are gonna ignite it.

For the record, yeah okay he is entitled to speak his opinion. I guess? That is the problem with democracy. Give a gun to a known but not tracked serial killer who enters your home town, and when the body count rises you wonder later why no one enforced better ways to "screen out" new neighbors backgrounds. It's because no matter how much things happen, people are drawn to drama like moths to flame. Yep me included.

what the op meant to say was that his TRIBBLE pc that couldnt beat a commodore 64 in a gravity race if dropped off a cliff, couldnt play sto with any settings turned up or on, he just had black and white grids and stick figures.

I always find it amusing how people are so willing to shoot down others for their opinions.

Love the quote, the man was a genius...instead of commenting on the OP's feeling (which I care nothing about) I have chosen to hijack this thread......fly me to Delaware so that i can be with my brothers from the Elks club or I start spamming the breen icecube maker in space dock until someone crys.

We will not be denied! DELAWARE

Take a chill pill. If you or any player are takeing things this personal, maybe RPGs are not for you. When interacting with other players in person during a paper roleplaying game, there is same drama, and some cornball moments. That is all part of the RPG exerience.

If he wants to play let him....if he doesn't let him go...end of story.

All of us that put the good money down know that cryptic has been and continue to imporve the game overall with every patch.

The graphics are elaborate and wonderfully done. They are the biggest selling point of the game.

Chances are he tried the trial, went meh cause his computer couldn't handle it and based his assertion off of a opinion that wasn't educated in the games depth.

Let em go, theres 5 more to take his place.

    Now...fly me to DELAWARE !

Contrary to popular belief, opinions can be wrong. Stating that this game has graphics equivalent to the Commodore 64 is not only a gross exaggeration but also completely incorrect. The OP himself didn't explain any of his points beyond "bad graphics and gameplay sux" so it's also incredibly poor feedback, which is the purpose of this actual forum that you're currently posting in.

Besides, the people who are shooting him down are just expressing their opinions on his opinion. It works both ways.

I don't take it seriously, i find it amusing actually :D I was curious if the community was capable of not feeding into a negative post. He does have a right to an opinion, i am in middle of college at 40 for digital media degree in animation, modeling, game making. I understand from a dev's POV what goes into making graphics pretty and blah blah, i also notice things in graphics i never did before so i can see ow what used to be "awesome" graphics in a 3-d game to me years ago, is TRIBBLE to me now..and i to have been dissapointed by games i had been excited about. STO has a "style" that took some getting used to, i was a huge fan of the unreal engine Elite Force style, i was used to more emoted facial expressions on the models than we have here, the renders of the models look great in the tailor, or character creator, etc. What things that still bug me are minor but i will list em here why not its a complaint post-

1.) The camera controls- jerky and not as flexible as i wish (especially for mechinima making, the demo recorder helps but i'd love more control of the camera options especially a First person mod heck, champions has that!)

2.) The wierd armor we can make invisible- why would we beam down in a war and fight in BRIGHT TRANSLUCENT "HERE I AM SHOOT ME OVER HERE!" apparel? Scanners don't always find people, as a excuse, visual camo would still be needed (enemies in ground combat during the dominion war had used transporter scrambler devices or dampening field emitters to mask tricorder readings to easily spot them
