You get a partial credit. Sort of. Really for most of the benefits they need to also pay for a month of the game.

In order to receive the referral bonuses your referral must purchase the game, and have one month of game time billed.

A full break down can be found here.

    Thanks,

Unless your referrals were prior to the program, then it doesn't matter 'cause you don't get nothin', not even a thank you.

That's probably obvious enough that it could go without saying. ;)

We're very happy that people helped grow STO before this program began, and would like to thank everyone who referred people to STO, before, or after this program's inception.

    Thanks,

Agreed, but still, it shows how loyalty has been respected throughout the history of the game regardless of StormShade's comment. That loyalty and assistance has been taken for granted rather than thanked in the past.

well, I'm pretty sure they plan to buy a 1 month gamecard from Amazon... and I already offered them my 3 10-days from my CE... does any of that count?

a 30-day gamecard should. The 10 day passes do not.

Correct. The 10-day passes are the same as referal keys (without any of the referal benefits) and do not count towards a paid subscription (which is one of the conditions for recording a successful referal for the game).

No, you get the Courier Title and Tribble when a referred person buys into the game with a retail key (they read as "Upgraded"). Then you must wait a month. and hope they sign up for a subscription for them to be counted as "Billed" Once you get a person that's "Billed" you get the Holo-boff, Recruiter title, and 400 cryptic points. For each Billed you get 400 CP. Then once you reach 5 Billeds, you get the Galaxy X and Master Recruiter title.

I want the Holo Boff, recruiter and 400 points only. so... please explain what you mean by "billed" do they have to play longer than the month that comes with it and the month that is the sub card?

Basically, they fully count as a subscriber the 1st time they pay for play-time aside from the free month included in the box.

A monthly sub or a gamecard, whatever activates them for "month 2"

And they aren't charged until the free month wears off, so if they used their free month today from the box, then put in the gamecard to add 30 more days, then in 31 days you will get credit for them as "Purchased"

Yes. At the end of the their free 30 days, they either pay a subscription or not play. Once they pay for a subscription outside and after their first 30 days, they get billed. So even if you got 5 people RIGHT NOW that were guaranteed to subscribe (which in real life they aren't), it would still take you a month to get your Recruiter title, CP and holo-boff.

you just confuse me more... after the 1 month that comes with the game, the sub-card does count as the "billed" right?

I have no idea, I have done no testing with those. I do know that if your recruit gets a lifetime at any point, they are automatically 'billed'. I look forward to any info on this too.
