that's what Title says it.. as said by my friend.

Cryptic, would you mind explaining why that was't Added before you ADDED items transfer to STO before Launch.

care to explain why?

i seen complaints in-game by players like "i need to send my creds to my other characters in-game.. why can't we get that so i can prep up my new character for future missions. too bad Cryptic did't added it to STO long time ago" and so forth.

anyone agree that it shoulda have been in STO long ago?

plus..

Just get your alt to list a specific item on the exchange for a specific amount, then switch to your rich main and buy it.

    Simples.

Cryptic historically didn't allow this because they wanted to discourage people from boosting their alts and at least force people to get help from another player if they did to create a mandatory form of social interaction (with the preference being that people didn't do it).

I'm actually surprised you can mail items to yourself here but Jack Emmert surprised me awhile back saying that he thought letting people mail their alts currency was a good idea.

Maybe it is some gold seller prevention measure? Sending junk in the mail and vendorizing it, will set up a brand new character. It's not super efficient, and the term "set up" might be subject to variable viewpoints. But it is not an impossible process. Just a slightly awkward one... :p

EC is not an issue here... BOs are issue.
How it is supposed to crosstrain BOs between alts?
    What about bound ones?

For EC - use exchange... is simple and usable crossfaction.

It would be nice to have this for the sheer convenience, but I don't find it too difficult to use the Exchange, or a friend to pass the funds on to an alt.
