Ok I'm running an nvidia gtx460. The AA in game looks pretty awful, not what I'm used to at 1650x1080 with x8 AA... lots of jaggies. Using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

Try to force it through the nvidia control panel, nada... nothing... doesn't work at all. I've got the correct .exe selected (C:users yada yada yada startrekonline.exe). No matter what I do (i.e. "override any application setting") it just ignores anything I select there. I can select 16x AA on the control panel, launch STO with no AA selected from in game menus and its a jag fest looks REAL ugly!

I tried to use nhancer, but after having problems loading it I found out its not supported by the newer nvidia drivers as they changed a lot of stuff. So the tricks I'd normally try with nhancer are a no go :(.

Can anyone help me here? I have a real thing about jaggies, and it's starting to bug me that I cant get something basic to work like AA on a brand new rig!

EDIT: Ok I just realised the actual game doesnt use the star trek online .exe I saw originally thats just for the launcher. Its Gameclient.exe you want, but even using this with forced AA I'm still getting absolute f**k all from the control panel. It's like the game ignores every setting I put on there.

you wont see true dx11 AA till they update the code to include Dx11, atm this is a Dx9 engine since most still run on xp machines and try using nHancer with combined 16xQ aswell as transparent AA enabled.

Unfortunately nhancer won't even load as it doesn't support the newer nvidia drivers so I'm stuck with the ugly in game stuff... bleh :(
