Talk about your experiences with the triolic pattern enhancer. Did anything happen? Did devidians kill your crew? Where do you use it? Share here small anekdotes on how it can be fun and or usefull.

The crew in my mess hall did get terrified, but that's about the extend of it. Still trying to figure this reward out

Me and my fleetmates used it to help on Terradome. The defensive bonus is great especially when you can plant it where the engineer is during the defense section. Also, since you have the proton weapon, the undine become weak towards it, so you can cut through them like butter >:D.

That's what I'm talking about. A marvelous idea there, thanks for your reaction

I actually used mine on the latest weekly episode.

Played the mission on advanced and within 3 shots I was killed by the security mobs. The next time I used the pattern enhancer and used to defensive buff to give me enough time to deploy shield/and health generators. All those buffs at once gave me enough time to knock out the mobs..while the enhancer "phased in" several tribbles. :D

All my other uses have been similar, in one of the Breen missions I was grouped with a couple of players and a 23th century Klingon sword master was phased in. Although initially I was a skeptical, I actually really like it.

Sweet! I was wondering if the proton debuff applied to enemies inside the field, now im going to have to take advantage of it.

Yeah, after the fight with the Undine, the floor was littered with Undine bodies and tribbles lol. Nice to know where my Fluidic Space Tribble came from. :D

I thought it was affecting them, but I can't say I precisely tested their reaction to the buffs and debuffs, but I see no reason why they wouldn't be affected. They had the blue glow and afterimage as expected.

Sadly it won't work in social areas :(.

I placed it in my ship though. My crew have this immunity to it though and just walk/run through it. When I went in it though I turned in to a Devidian I guess because my crew ran away or cowered afraid at my very presence:D!

Yet to use it in a mission, either my turret army pwns them or I've yet to do anything like an STF.

the only problem I've had with it was once it summoned a dividian I had to defeat along with the romulans I was fighting. That was on elite and I think the romulans destroyed one of the pattern enhancers.

I have found that area attack weapons like grenades and mines will destroy the field if they are detonated inside it.

I used it once on my bridge just to see it. Summoned one of the boss Dividians. It killed me and half my Bridge crew while the other half just sat at their consoles.

Wow... I've heard of it summoning tribble or random 23rd century starfleet officers, but not devidians.

Mine spawned a bunch of white kick-able Tribbles around its base when I used it during Saturday's weekly mission.

I wouldn't use it in PvP though, since I believe that the Pattern Enhancer puts you out of phase...
And you know the Proton Weapon....
That being said: I used in the last weeklay episode to force the Devidians out of phase... I don't know wheather my observation is correct though...

Didn't know anything could be summoned but I've only tried it once in my ship interior so maybe it needs to be a mission map? Guess I'll have to have a play around with it. Have a nice break from accolade grinding by summoning devidians as my pets :D.

Huh. Really? It will summon random creatures? What's this about 23rd century Starfleet officers? Aer all the summoned things enemies?

Played through on the cure when one of my teammates dropped it.

"Why," I asked. "Don't the borg who chase you in there get a buff, too?"

"I don't know," he responded as an Umbral appeared and started wailing on a heavy tactical drone.

Pretty not too bad if you ask me

I've heard of three things being spawned: tribbles (just items that you can kick around, but others will not see them), 23rd century Starfleet (allies, seen a screenshot), and Devidians, which are apparently enemies to you, but also to everything else?

I tried to use it a couple of times in the Devidian fight at the end of the recent episodes. I had to redo the last half due to the McCoy bug. Each time it got destroyed as I put it down. So, it's been kind of useless for me when I've used it.

it depends. I've found if an enemy attacks it and you don't it'll attack whatever aggros it. After everything else is gone however...

All in all its a fun device though

    For me,
    - Several times I have seen Tribbles.
    - I once showed a Starfleet Captain of 23 th century in my TurboLift. With a yellow shirt (Seen when the Pattern disappears). > Screen. > Video.
    - I once showed a Dividian. A Dividian Phantasm. A boss. During a mission on the Space Station Empok Nor. > Screen. >Video.

    it's cool !

    Mine fought for me

He didn't go away after the enhancer did though. I was hoping he would follow me, but he just stood there. Oh well, it was cool as he fired his 23 cent. phaser at the True Way. Kicked their butts. LOL
