Referring to the Guile and Cunning accolade for completing the Everything Old is New mission without confrontation.
I and a number of my friends have been trying to get this accolade for all of our characters. And while it does work out from time to time, the mission also bugs out frequently causing aggro when there should be none and as a result we end up not getting the accolade.
In addition, we have tried a number of times to get this accolade on the Klingon side, but even when we make it through without firing a shot (by using our BOffs to draw security away and allowing them to be disintegrated) we never get the accolade. Is this accolade not available for Klingons? Is there an alternate that we can achieve on the Klingon side?
I've done this twice on fed and twice on klingon.
Had no trouble getting the accolade either time.
Best advice I can think would be to set your boffs on passive as soon as you beam in.
GL!
Even if your BO's are on passive, they will still create other pets like support drones which will definitely aggro. Best thing in addition to putting them on passive is to right click the specific powers to disable them.
One of the most likely places to aggro is when you take one of the lifts into a room where you have to lock the door, and then climb into a Jeffries tube. If you are not quick enough, the Feds blow open the door. After you go through the J-tube, I often find that my BO's are not with me. They end up somewhere else on the map for some reason, and they try to run towards you, often drawing aggro. The way around this is to immediately run out of the room after you go through the J-tube, hugging the wall along the right side.
even if you get agro just leg it away and set your bo's to passive and you should still get it.
its only if you knock one out that it wont work, getting shot by one should be ok, or at least it was for me.
Yeah, problem is when you get aggro on the first group, the group in the room with the console that turns on the turbolifts aggro on you too. And with all of those phasers hitting you, using that console becomes impossible.
And a lot of times I will make it through the first room without drawing aggro and then when I get to the second group and choose Diplomacy they start shooting anyway.
Anyway, thanks all. I guess I'll just keep trying. It's getting frustrating though. I'm getting to the point where I just want to run though and kill every friggin officer on that level. And I guess with the Klingons that's what I'm supposed to do.

Did you try the Jeffries tube? (or are you talking earlier in the level?)

Yes, I went through the Jeffries tube to the area where the guards are working on the left side and one of them is pacing back and forth. I manage to sneak past them and get to the hallway, but then as I approach the second group (in the room with the lift console) I get the choice for Diplomacy and I choose it, but they start shooting at me anyway.
That's my main issue. I can get past the guards in the first room, but the diplomacy group doesn't seem affected by my choosing diplomacy. That's why I think it is buggy.

Hmm. Both times I ran through it, I never had an issue. There are two diplo choices. Which one did you pick?
I have my BOffs set on passive by default though, but that shouldn't make a difference.

Which is pretty ingenious when you think of it. I hope we see more accolades that are faction specific like this.
