A Suggestion: Weekly reward Options

For what it is worth, I think the weekly missions should always offer a selection of item for one to select as a reward. I will go even further and suggest that the reward selection list could even one class based item and a general purpose item.

For me selecting a reward makes the mission conclusion all the more meaningful to be frank. It is something I tend to look forward to in gameplay. This is especially so if the choices are all something of real value to me either for play style reason or class. Not having an option to select a reward for most missions in game is a real buzzkill to say the least.

    Not a bad idea, as some people don't use certain types of equipment. For example, not everyone uses mines, so they don't use the torpedo launcher...and some people don't use beams or phasers, so they don't use the new array.

    Still, I play the weeklies for the great adventure, not the end reward. If I get something that I can use and think is cool, then great. If not, then it's going in my bank.

    It's a good suggestion, it's also a resource demanding one. So it is an optimal solution for a perfect world. The alternative might be heavily watered out rewards, since they must cover all the aspects of player needs, so we end up with something bordering to utter vanilla flavour instead of *partially* unsuitable flavoured rewards.

    Both types might lead to problems in the reception department. So it's basically back to square one...

    Fine, I guess I'll take the time to respond. Well, yeah it'd be swell to have an option on what rewards you get.

    But is it a "buzzkill" if there isn't? Personally, I don't believe so. Why? Because it was nice enough that the developers created a fun and engaging mission and that they put a reward at the end of the weekly part. Does it make the mission feel more meaningful for me? No. Especially when I got that crate of Deferi snow tubers. That was a hoot.

    So is it absolutely necessary now? I'm pretty sure during a bunch of the base missions that we received you weren't rewarded every step of the way. So no, not really. They could just hand out your options for rewards at the end of the series in general. It's probably something that they should move to really.
