I think the way the devs have said they're goal is to get the Foundry to a point where we can design our own interiors.

With the coming USG tools you should be able to eventually construct your own interior. (something im REALLY looking forward too :) )

The typhoon class as a playable ship is another story entirely. ;)

think the typhoon has a better chance than the crazy fed carrier crazyness thats going on at the moment.

I'm very much looking forward to UGC and am sure that players shall create some brilliant looking ship interiors, TOS anyone?

Concerning the Typhoon class, I can understand why people want it but it just looks like a mash up of other ship parts and I would much rather Cryptic put the time and resources into introducing a new ship class that is unique rather than make a NPC ship user playable. Look at the success of the introduction of the Excelsior or the Nebula. (I realise those are not Cryptic designs but they are the most recent Fed ships)

Aesthetically I like parts of it but not all of it.

To me at least it looks like an intrepid on steroids. :p

Typhoon is meh to me. I would much rather see the Vesta class added to the game. Pics have been posted in a few threads so i'm not gonna put it up here.

    But ya, VESTA....me want.

Here ya go. It almost looks like it would be a good variant on the Star Cruiser.

    Vesta Class
