I have had repeated client crashes. Instructions were very unclear throughout for me and NPC AI seemed to get confused if I did anything in the wrong order. Dr. McCoy in turn is stuck treating one redshirt and he won't test my cortical stimulator. The mission let me go on and fight the Devidians but I still can't get his cortical stimulator
Bug report filed at #998,563 for developers' sake.
I've never had a huge issue with bugs but this missions seems to have caused client crashes, texturing issues (McCoy had a very peculiar face at one point). The NPC AI gets confused if you interact with it out of order or in unintended ways. McCoy froze up treating one redshirt and doesn't do anything when I supply him with a cure.
Also, it would be nice if I could actually select away team for away missions before you start doing different sized away missions. I haven't had a working away team dialogue (aside from the one in my character pane) since the Shaka When the Levels Fell incident and I think that's a pretty common issue.
It wouldn't bug me if the 3 man away team just used the first two BOs from my assignments tab but I can't select BOs en route to a mission, ONLY from the assignments tab.
You seem to have a lot of flaws in your program. Have you tried a forced verify? If that didn't/doesn't work you might want to think about saving your characters and doing an uninstall and a completely new download and patch to fix the problems.
I agree with Cosmic. That seems to be an awful lot of issues for just one buggy mission. Personally I had to do the last part twice but it worked and overall I enjoyed the mission.
Episode 4 indeed is very buggy, almost feels like it wasn't tested before being released.
My Very First attempt on my Federation Engineer, I got stuck on the Cordical Implant selection where literally no selection worked. I dropped the mission and restarted it, and it worked fine.
On my Klingon Tactical, I did it on Elite and quickly dropped it for mobs killed me in 2 seconds flat. But redoing it on Elite was fine. But had to restart the mission again because the Security Teams were not showing up. Restart 2, the ones by the Door wasn't there, Restart #3, this time the Post-Tube Group wasn't there. Restart 4, another Security Team was bugged. Managed to get it on the 5th run.
On my Federation Tactical, same issue with my Klingon regarding Security Teams. The Post-Tube Group was in the middle of the hallway on 2 attempts. The Third, the Group by the Door wasn't there at all.
So Security Teams are really bugged.
A Third Bug I noticed was the Bridge Officers not warping with you when you climb through the Jefferie's Tube, they end up running the long way and aggroing the Security Teams, even when set on Passive.
A fourth bug I ran into was talking to the LT, he didn't like me taking appart the console and was shooting me through the door.
Having to restart was annoying since I had to zone out of the mission to Drozana, then zone out to Drozana space, then to Sector Space to reacquire the mission. Zone back and wait 10 Minutes for the instance reset.
These things really killed the fun of Episode 4, what would've been a really awesome mission.

The dialogue crashes are ONLY happening with this mission.
And I can't see how anything system side would allow me to complete objectives in the wrong order.
One thing that seemed to be an issue was if I allowed security teams to kill me whenever I made a misstep.
There should be a prize.
Like a bug free game full of content? I think that is going to take another million bug reports or so...
Back on topic, maybe your particular character is just bugged beyond fixing, have you tried a different character?
