I have tired twice to complete this mission. Drake won't acknwoledge that I have finished it. I did it once. It didn't complete so I went back in. Finished it a second time. It didn't complete. Went back in a third time and it tells me miission complet return to my own time. I did. Still won't complete for me. This is frustrating and needs addressed.

I want my comopletion please!

Since your contact is Drake, I presume you're playing Federation.

Did you go all the way back to sector space to turn in the mission?

We are trying to determine what is causing this issue for some players.

If you get stuck on the mission state "Shenanhigans" we have confirmed that you can go back to Drozona station - rerun the 2nd half of the episode - until you get to the point where it says "return to your own time and report".

Once you are in that state - you can return to SECTOR SPACE and talk to Franklin Drake to turn in the mission.

This happened to me too. The second time through I went back to the portal itself rather than clicking the "Return to Own Time" as soon as it came up after talking to the week's Guest Star.

There seems to be some tag that isn't completing properly when you talk to the Guest Star after the Devidian fight.

    Just saw the Dev's responses.

The first time it happened to me the mission didn't actually "complete" in the mission log. In that case I went back out to sector space, but Drake still had the mission "In Progress".

The second time through it did properly "complete", but I don't recall if it was after the Guest Star's dialogue or upon returning to the portal itself.

Probably mere coincidence, but I've had it work ok when I went back to near the portal before beaming out. It failed if I immediately tried to leave.

    While we're talking about bugs.

Are these missions QA'ed with a group at all? Or are they just soloed through?

Once again we find the same problem as Skirmish. Unless team members agree to wait for the last member to finish reading, a single member can rush through and ruin it for everyone else.

Sure the mission completes, but it leaves the other four players wondering WHY it completed!

It works fine on Diplomacy missions. One impatient player cannot spoil the experience for those missions. Which makes me wonder if there's different multiplayer logic in those than there is in Combat missions.

Sad to see this error crop up again, but I guess everything old really IS new.

Also, the New Bridge Officer Tip UI (Have we agreed on the right name for it yet?) only appears for the Team Leader. The other team members don't even see the Mission Text. (Bug #998367)

Happened to me, too. I'm pretty sure that as a workaround, after you get the mission complete from the "guest star" (heh), you have to choose continue exploring instead of return to your ship. Then head back to the portal to complete the mission.

I posted about this and put in a ticket but I am having a similar bug. None of the actions I take for McCoy register and check off. So it is impossible to complete the mission.

Designers are in the office looking at the issue. Once the determine the set of circumstances that is causing the issue, they'll post a work-around if there is one. If we get a fix for it this weekend, we'll consider pushing an update early in the week to address the issue.

Same completion problem with two different characters. I've completed the mission once, but an alt character I just ran through had the same problem. I've also found:

    1. When you go up the Jefferies Tube your crew doesn't follow you. What ends up happening is they aggro the Starfleet security because they're running from the other side of the building.

    2. The gun you're holding often will not fire unless you use a regular ability first, like Tachyon Harmonic.

I'll wait until the fix to run it again.

Just had this issue with my Fed Alien Eng Lt. Comm 5. Ran the mission with 5 toons before w/o any problems. Finished the mission. Beamed out to space, then to sector space and... mission listed as still in progress. I completed everything in the mission (all objectives). So the mission 'should' be done, but... something isn't registering.

Just returned to the station and there is no option for me to go back to the past. It seems to be stuck on Shenanigans.

*edit* Correction, the TL doors just started flashing for me, lets see what I missed lol.

*edit* Nope, I didn't miss anything. First time through I shot the security teams, second time through I'm trying the diplomacy option. We'll see.

*edit* Second time through, not shooting the security team in shenanigans that was guarding the turbo lift controls to the power distribution level. Used diplomacy and mission ran fine.

The second time I ran it with my Science alt, I encrypted the door lock but Starfleet Security blew up the door! Wha?

Second time with that alt resulted in successful completion.

Wierd bug running on my Lt5 Klingon Engineer. After I'd unlocked the Maintenece lift, in the large room with the 'pit' control area; there was a group of 7 Federation security facing away from me and my BOs. When I fired on them, they never turned, nor did they EVER fire back. I was just able to stun them down without any resoponse from them.

Also, just a NPC costume note - all the female TOS NPCs in the mission are wearing the 'old' miniskirts that didn't match the original Star Trek TV series. Would be nice if you could put them in the updated TOS mini-skirts (the one that was remade fpr player uiforms.)

Just in case devs are looking for something to test, maybe look at the confrontation with Lieutenant Simian during Shenanigans.

First time I played through, successful completion after I had to stun Simian's team to get to the console.

Second time I played through with another character, I used diplomacy on Simian and the mission completed.

Third time I played through with a Klingon, I tried sneaking around the computers behind Simian and she never saw me, but when I did the rest, the mission was uncompleted when I got back to the 25th Century.

I replayed the mission and this time I didn't take the jeffries tube, I waited for the team to blast through the doors and then I headed straight to Simian and took her team out. Then I went back to the other room to take care of the other security team. But then amazingly after that Simian and her team CAME BACK TO LIFE and came back to attack me so I took her out again. But the mission completed OK after doing the rest.

So... in my conclusion a confrontation with Simian is programmed as a required step, but some people are finding a way to avoid her and that's what's causing the mission to not complete for them. It's because the mission text says (Optional escape team) so you think you can avoid her when really it is expecting you to either attack her or diplomacy her and not to avoid her altogether.

Is it a bug that the security teams don't seem to reset to their regular state after you aggro them? The first group stop patrolling, and later groups will charge you from across the map as soon as you respawn. Makes it pretty difficult to correct your mistakes and "do it right" the second time.

Just tried doing this mission 5 times, and every time Im having trouble after the Jeffries Tube.

Sometimes my BOffs dont use the Jeffries Tube, and come walking all over the station with a bunch of security officers on them.

Sometimes the BOffs use the Jeffries Tube, but the security team comes running to us. If I run back enough, the security team despawns, but as soon as I move forward they respawn again and come running to me.

When I successfully finished this mission with my other character yesterday night nothing of this happened, and I remember that in the next room there were 3 NPCs talking and I had to sneak past them. They are not there today in my (bugged) mission runs.

    Hope this helps.

Missions completed fine on my VA. It just won't complete on my LtCdr 6. Got the "Guile and Cunning" accolade. But hailing drake at the end won't end it. It just males me do the mission completely over again.

Anyone else die in the mission? My VA got through just fine with the fire, but the NPCs aggro way too easy, even when they "aren't looking." I wonder if dying in the mission might have something to do with it. I didn't die with my VA and it completed just fine.

EDIT: Either the Devs fixed it and I haven't seen anything saying it was fixed or death is the key. I ran the mission for the third time with my LtCdr 6. Took extra special care not to die and the mission completed.
