How does the rankings system for fleet actions work? is it based on how many ships you've destroyed, or enemies killed? How much damage you've done?
I'm just curious since the people ranked at the top get the best rewards, yet those of us who prefer to concentrate on support abilities, healing, buffing, etc, surely contribute to the fleet actions just as much as those who sit there and shoot. Are they penalised because they didn't select tactical characters and so cannot throw out anywhere near as much damage?
The people who complete objectives get points toward their ranking. So kills certainly count when done in the Starbase 24 fleet action, but at Kerrat it's all based on nodes scanned and repair hulks destroyed or damaged.
It should also be noted that completions count whether or not they're active.
If you're doing the gorn minefield, and the current "step" is to kill cruisers, and you're killing frigates, you're still accumulating points for those frigates. I actually got first place in the gorn minefield doing nothing but killing frigates (people trying to gather minerals kept training me).
