What's the Difference?

K7 Docking pop-up 1
K7 Docking pop-up 2

Ready Room Trophy pop-up 1
Ready Room Trophy pop-up 2

Ten Forward Trophy pop-up 1
Ten Forward Trophy pop-up 2

In case you can't see it, the difference is convenience.

Currently when you Beam Out of K7, SB39 or DS9 you are again greeted with the Docking pop-up. If this pop-up had the Warp option it wouldn't be seen as a hassle as it is currently. And the Trophy pop-ups require that you Exit every time you set a Trophy for a particular Shelf. If you could just go Back instead it would be much easier to set up your trophies.

Please make the necessary adjustments to the in-game pop-ups. I'm sure all of the players will appreciate the convenience.

Thanks!

I like it just fine the way it is :p

Just kidding, I completely agree. I doubt it would be very difficult for them to implement this.

I like it fine the way it is. I like having to click on multiple boxes to do simple things. It adds to the gaming experience and helps me feel like I'm getting my money's worth. :D

    Oh, and Cryptic, see OP.

I'm not digging the K7 addition much. I think such an option would be much better placed in sector space to send you directly into the station itself and from within the station to move you directly to sector space.

Or, heck, they could just flat-out get rid of the space portions! There's nothing to do in these areas, as they stand the space parts of these hubs are just reeeeeeaaaaaally slow "Are you sure?" buttons.

For me the problem isn't that i have to open up a second popup to warp out/beam in it's that i have to deal with the space part of these hubs at all, having to put up with 2 loading screens just to get in and out of these areas is what I find frustrating.

The dialogue box that annoys me the most is for the Diplomatic Missions. After several walls of text, that you only need to read once, you accept the mission and then do it again to get another mission that's available. But then there is no chat option to say good bye, you need to press the cross in the corner.

I would really like a "Good Bye" button in most stages of the conversation so once you get what you needed then you can leave the convo. Also I would really like it if you can get rid of all useless conversation options after you've read them, primarily from Sulu's replacement (Summers I think?) and just list the missions when you contact starfleet remotely. If I need to go read them again I can go visit the NPC and ask them then.

Chances are they won't make that sort of change, however.. the OPs suggestion does cut down on the annoyance of *click* "Beam up to Ship" *click* "Are you sure?" *click* "Do you want to Dock?" No I don't want to freakin' dock. I want to WARP.

OR... like in the first NWN.. you can cancel the dialogue, BUT it could affect the way that person reacts to you in the future. Obviously that would take a huge overhaul to the game engine to include each of the NPCs forming opinions about each individual character... that kind of stuff is better reserved for single player games due to the heavy resource needs of something like that.

Yeah as awesome as it would be, I think it would take too much work to add it in now. I think a game needs to be built around that principle.

That one is a little bit annoying, but unlike the Docking pop-up, players don't find themselves accidentally Docking again the moment they Beam Out because of an accidental click. And they don't have to completely Exit in order to talk to him about something else, unlike the Trophy pop-up.

Either way, these are things that should be pretty easily addressed. It's just a matter of the devs knowing about it and then doing something to fix it.

Addendum: The Docking pop-up change should also include Ganalda station on the Klingon side.
