I know most don't agree with the way this was handled, since the current Vor'cha had no customization variants... and I agree.
However, for $2 US you can show that the Klingons matter. So come on, don't buy a pack of gum or a 20oz pop/soda and help make the makers realize the Klingons want content, even C-Store content.
Don't give them another reason to say we don't matter. Make the purchase please. Trust me when I say plenty of us Klingon focused people have been supporting the C-Store for a while even though we weren't getting content and it was just going towards our Fed alts.
I don't have a captain (my KDF alt is a Commander).
Oh well, looks like I have to go buy a Mt. Dew.
Think of it as in investment.
Seeing as the US economy is snowballing towards inflation or even hyperinflation.... Buying it now is cheaper then waiting to get it later. Use your money wisely, get it and support the cause, forget about the house cat pet purchase and get this....
I would think the more sales they make on it, the less likely they are going to stay convinced that the lack of klink content is losing them players. - I for one intend on buying it only after they make the klinks worth playing.
I am a big supporter of the C-Store. I believe that paying a premium for premium items is totally fair. I have purchased every single ship model/refit, all the races, all the bridge packs, and a ton of other stuff...
This skin was somewhat disappointing because it is not premium quality.
Cryptic should KNOW that people who purchase ship models will probably look at every square inch of it over and over... And this model has a flaw which should have been cought before it was released (for money) to the customer base.

I literally can't buy it. You have to have a captain to purchase (or else I would - despite wishing they'd have allocated it to the KDF for free).

This kind of bug annoys me enough to not want to use the model and if I could get a refund on it I would.
Oh well.. It is just real money right?
Dude, it's not like they don't fix and update ship skins in the game all the time. If there's a problem they'll fix it, just like they have almost every other ship skin in the game.

To add onto this, they fixed the Galaxy retrofit bridges too. That gap on the floor is gone. I'm not sure if they got around to the gaps in door geometry on a few of the maps though.

They cant tribble test c-store skins so there will always be a few issues here and there. they never intentionally release bugged stuff, it just happens. they will fix it, sooner than later as ship skins are easy to fix compared to other things.

My point is there should be better quality control for ART. All they have to do is use their eyes.
The artist missed it... The supervisor missed it.. CBS missed it...Premium items should be premium quality.
Oh well... Hopefully it will get fixed eventually. Till then it was a waste of 2 bucks for me.
All buying it will show is that they can milk players desperate for the KDF to approach parity by charging for new things before getting anywhere close, and set a financial precedent for any future factions introduced to be barest-bones and still charged at a premium.

Ditto. Until I have the same ship customization options for my Klingon characters as I have on my Federation characters, I'm not buying any KDF ship skins in the C-Store. Doing so just validates the current state of affairs for the Klingon faction; and that's something I'm not going to do.

Come out! Support the Klingons, buy today!
Sorry, won't do that... This will only show them they can get away with charging per month (or lifetime abo) + selling stuff which should be included in the basic game. If they add all the missing ship skins for kligons, so that we have 3 FREE options for every ship I'll sure buy some new skins from the C-Store. Up to that I'll don't pay a single point for such stuff.

I don't see why I have to pay for a single skin when most ships get 3 variants at no cost.
Oh Wait, let me correct that statement,
I don't see why I have to pay for a single skin when most Federation ships get 3 variants at no cost.
P.S I understand where your coming from but I'm not giving Cryptic another penny until I see a developed Klingon faction, and it won't be developed by Klingon players having to pay more to get less.
First of all, this doesn't support Klingons. Klingons should have the same basic minimum of customization as Feds. What this says is that we'll pay for it instead of expecting it to be there with our game subscription to begin with. Further more, it sets a standard for all future ship customization for both Feds and KDF. Even Romulans when they come out.
So yeah, we are still in the back of the bus buddy, except we can matter now.... for a price. I had know idea Dstahl and his team were Ferangis. There is standard business practices, and then there is dirty business practices.
I am not one who is against MTs. I've Bought stuff from Cryptic's C-Store, as well as other game's MTs store as well. There is a certain level of quality I expect with my game before that though. Cryptic has made some good changes for the KDF, but this is a step back. Especially considering Cryptic's policy in player customization in regards to the KDF faction.
P.S I understand where your coming from but I'm not giving Cryptic another penny until I see a developed Klingon faction, and it won't be developed by Klingon players having to pay more to get less.
However, it has been said countless times the C-Store team is separate from the ingame development team. If one of the two teams can start making SOMETHING then I will be happy. I agree with most posts however the original premise is NOT flawed. If you can at least convince one party to develop, maybe we can get something before another 8 months.
I wish like everyone else that this wasn't the case, but as you know from my posts, I am going to continue to push ANY avenue at this point that gets more Klingon stuff. By showing some interest, it would be great to see someone recognize the desire of people to play this faction. Then again, we should be getting 3 new refits soon (maybe 4, I guess we are all kinda confused on actual number), and they can be gotten ingame.

I was trying to find a post I read a while ago to discredit this. It said, and I am paraphrasing, that STO's art team made C-Store content while waiting around for the programmers to do their job and the writers to do their's. Yadda-yadda! Since I can't seem to find this post or even remember who said it, it doesn't matter.
That said, let me ask this. Mhighson is our in game lead character artist. Lets say there is 2 different teams. Why is he making 7of9 costume, T'Pol costume, Enterprise costume, Caitians and other things for the c-store? Shouldn't he be working on catching Klingons up to par? Heck even more non-cstore fed stuff?
I wish like everyone else that this wasn't the case, but as you know from my posts, I am going to continue to push ANY avenue at this point that gets more Klingon stuff.
You may be fine with bread crumbs, I am going for the loaf.

No offense, but talking about the economy and telling people to spend their money wisely...on a video game...sounds kind of silly. And sadly, the money that is made from this ship isnt going to be funneled back into the KDF faction; thats not how the C-store works. It will be used however Cryptic wants, and in all likelihood will even be used to create Fed content.
I don't even have a klink that's out of LT yet and I bought the skin.
Show some love for the klinkies guys! Maybe just maybe we'll have enough love shown that they will give us enough Klingon PVE to make leveling a klink more entertaining than watching paint dry!
I think Dstahl's been very straight forward in telling us what he wants for the Klingon faction. He inherited a big problem but I think he's taken a lot of steps to try and fix it too. If someone doesn't want to buy the skin out of protest for the lack of Klingon content I think they're just cutting their own throat. It's going to take years for the Klingon faction content to get even close to the Federation faction's content. Nothing can change that. There's only so many writers and mission designers working at Cryptic to do the work. Constantly hating on what was doesn't change what is. Just my opinion.

BoP is soo 24th century, live in the now!
I own all the Fed science skins, but I use any of them. It's a support thing.
Any and all help is appreciated in this endeavor.

I wish i could get a mtn dew....they stopped selling in the UK years ago.......wonder how much it is to import...damn that stuff was nice

Everyone needs to show their support, or the Undine WIN.
Should be interesting to find out.

And when these ships get introduced, their only skins will be c-store too. Only because the consumers found this practice acceptable.
Gosh even the new Nebula got a skin with it too. Wake up Klinks!
